Provinces is a world-building sandbox where you create your own maps, shape their terrain, divide them into provinces, and build the cultures, nations and people who inhabit them. Begin with a blank world and decide what it becomes. Create realistic regions, fictional continents, islands, battle maps, historical-style worlds, or entirely strange fantasy settings.

CREATE YOUR MAP

Draw and shape custom provinces, then give each part of your world its own terrain and identity. Create forests, plains, deserts, mountains, snow-covered regions and more.

CREATE CULTURES AND NATIONS

Give your world its own cultures, subcultures, nations, names, colours, flags and leadership. Build neighbouring states, rival kingdoms, isolated peoples or a single united empire.

MAKE CHARACTERS AND DYNASTIES

Create individual characters with their own appearance, culture, province, age and family connections. Build rulers, families and dynasties that belong to the worlds you create.

MAKE IT YOUR WORLD

Provinces is designed as a creative sandbox. There is no single correct way to play: build a recognisable real-world map, make a small custom scenario, recreate a historical-style setting, or create something completely original.

Armies

As the Game progresses the nations will make armies and militias in preparation for the wars to come due to either simulation or more likely player intervention.

Ambitions

The world can enter long periods of peace this is not like other simulation game wars do not happen just because they need claims/wargoals and a character brave or stupid Enought to act on them but with ambitions you can make characters brave or stupid incredibly easy from huge event like wars or independence movements to more personal things like marriage pacts.

Language

While originally made for English as a Solo Developer i have tried to implement language optimisation where i can for over 30 languages from Spanish to Hungarian. there may be issues such as UI scaling when using other languages.
