PLAY INSTANTLY WITH ANYONE

MudGate breaks the barrier to entry. While you host the game on Steam, you can invite up to 7 friends to join your party—one of them can even jump in as a guest via a browser link.

• No Install Required: Guests can jump straight into the action via their browser.

• Cross-Platform Friendly: Perfect for game nights, guild events, or introducing friends to the genre without them needing to buy the game first.

• Full Party Support: Squad up with a mix of Steam players, browser guests, and NPC companions.

CLASSIC ROOTS, MODERN DEPTH

Inspired by the depth of text-based MUDs but visualized for a modern audience, MudGate offers a tactical "Tick-Based" Combat System. Actions play out in 2-second intervals, giving you the strategic depth of turn-based combat with the flow of an Action RPG.

• Roll the Dice: Combat uses classic d20 mechanics. Your stats, gear, and positioning matter.

• Deep Customization: Shape your build through extensive skill trees and class options.

• Snowball Your Power: Start weak, but grow into a god-like force as you unlock escalating loot tiers and shop upgrades.

ENDLESS ADVENTURE

• The Surface: Explore hundreds of handcrafted biomes, from frozen wastes to corrupted forests.

• The Depths: Plunge into 255 floors of procedurally generated dungeons. Every floor is a new challenge with unique guardians.

• The Loot: Find legendary gear, trade with other players in real-time, and craft your ultimate loadout.

As you explore the realms, you may find sanctuaries and trading houses. Within these safe havens, you might stumble upon hidden quests or discover rare items that could aid you in your journey.

THE WORLD OF ICEMIRE

Eons ago, the realm of Icemire stood as the nexus of countless worlds, its ancient doorways thriving with portals that bound realms together—until a devastating conflict shattered these gateways, leaving them dormant and shrouded in mystery.

Now, these ruined gates stand as silent witnesses to the fracture. As a traveler in this broken world, you must recover scattered compass shards, reclaim territories consumed by corruption, and mend the ancient gates before darkness claims them forever.

...and there are dungeons to explore

Descend into shifting dungeon labyrinths where every floor is protected by a guardian. Smash gravestones for hidden loot, uncover secrets, beat the guardian to unlock the next tier, and ultimately confront the boss that lurks in the deepest depths.
