RISE OF THE DEAD

The cure is buried. The dead are rising.

You wake up alone inside a remote mountain research facility.
The lights are failing.
The corridors are silent.

The floors covered in blood.
And something is moving in the dark.

A distorted phone call from a first responder named Frank delivers a single objective:

Find the vaccine. Escape before the facility is destroyed.

🧟 ABOUT THE GAME

Rise of the Dead is a story-driven survival horror game built in Unreal Engine 5, blending tense exploration, environmental storytelling, and classic puzzle-based progression.

Set inside a vast research complex carved deep into a remote mountain, you play as a security guard who wakes with no memory of how the outbreak began — only the growing realisation that the personnell are not so alive anymore.

The facility is failing.
The infection is spreading.
And time is running out.

🏔️ A DEAD MOUNTAIN FACILITY

Explore a sprawling, interconnected research complex featuring:

• Security offices and surveillance rooms

• Medical wards and triage areas

• Research laboratories and biocontainment zones

• Dormitories, maintenance tunnels, and power stations

• An abandoned underground train station — your only escape

Each location tells its own story through bloodstains, destroyed equipment, documents, audio logs, and environmental clues.

📞 A VOICE ON THE LINE

Throughout your journey, you receive phone calls from Frank, a first responder coordinating containment efforts from the facility entrance car park.

His information guides you — but as the facility reveals its secrets, his words begin to raise questions.

Is Frank helping you…
Or using you?

🧬 FIND THE VACCINE

Was the outbreak corporate greed, accidental or military trial?

Uncover classified experiments, failed trials, and unethical research as you descend deeper into the mountain.
The vaccine exists — but it may not be complete.

Your choices determine:

• How much of the truth you uncover

• What condition the vaccine is in

• And what escapes the mountain with you

🔑 SURVIVAL HORROR GAMEPLAY

• Limited resources and ammunition

• Environmental puzzles and key-based progression
