Konike (pronounced cone-EE-kay) is a turn-based strategy RPG about hunting ghosts for money.

Play as Daniel B., an unfortunate soul forced to hunt unseen spirits in rural America under the authority of the mysterious Zone 3C Command. Take part in this dangerous job with new friends you meet along your travels, and explore an almost fully open map that lets you choose what road to go down. Just make sure to keep a tight grip on reality... you don't want to find out what happens if you're left stranded in the miasma.

Finders

Since ghosts are invisible to all but those closest to death, Finders are the primary method of locating ghosts in Zone 3C. They're cheaply-made (yet impressive) devices that use probability in a variety of ways to help you get an idea of where the spirits around you lurk. Whether searching for ghosts in the immediate area or scanning the entire map for clues, Finders are the most important tool in your arsenal, and how you use them in tandem with one another will make or break your survival.

Electricity

The eternal night has blanketed the landscape, necessitating the power of light to keep it at bay. However, since the shutdown of all but one of the region's power plants, electricity charges have become a commodity in the barely-standing economy of Zone 3C, and rations are tight. Keep careful watch over your party's constantly dwindling power supply, and optimize your electricity usage to persist through even the worst of bad luck streaks. Plus, some people would be more than happy to fork over important items in exchange for any extra charges you can spare for them.

Characters

Join forces with three other equally unfortunate souls as you travel, working together to capture ghosts quicker and more efficiently. Experience the unique strengths and weaknesses each party member plays while in action, and enjoy their rich conversations during downtime. Each character has a gameplay-driven personality and life story that breathes life into the narrative, both in and out of dialogue.

What is the Zone 3C Command, and why do they need people like you to hunt ghosts for them? Why are there so many blocked-off areas on your map, and is there a way around them?
