《 A Party RPG Built Around Four Companions 》

In ARCHETYPE BLUE, you will meet more than 50 distinct companions.

Each has their own abilities and way of fighting.
Form a party of four and take them into battle.

During a mission, you can swap companions to suit the situation
and experiment with new combinations.

Simply gathering the strongest companions is not enough.

Which four will you bring together?
Who will stand in the Front Row, and who in the Middle or Back Row?

As their abilities and positions work together,
the party begins to move as one.

Gather the companions you care about,
and find the fighting style that lets them shine.

《 Companions Fight on Their Own. The Leader Changes the Flow. 》

Once battle begins, companions act in the order of
Front Row → Middle Row → Back Row.

Positioning is about more than simply deciding who will take the next hit.

You can place a companion in the Front Row because you need them to act first,
or use an early action to create an opening for those who follow.

Once all four companions have acted,
it is your turn as the Leader to play cards.

Press the attack,
protect your companions,
heal or strengthen them,
and step directly into the flow of a battle already in motion.

You do not command every single action,
but neither do you simply watch an auto-battle unfold.

Your companions fight in their own way,
and you, as their Leader, make the decisions when they matter most.

《 Change the Party, Change the Battle 》

Change a single companion,
and the way your party fights can change with them.

A companion who acts first and sets the stage.

A companion who protects wounded allies.

A companion who builds on an earlier action to unleash even greater power.

And cards that add new possibilities to the flow between them.

The more companions you meet,
the more combinations emerge that your old party could never have tried.

The more cards you acquire,
the more ways you find to use familiar companions.

There is no single right answer.

Build around the companions you like,
or discover new strategies in combinations you never expected.

Among countless companions and cards,
build the party that suits you best.

《 Every Mission Takes a Different Course 》

Missions bring more than battles.
You will also encounter events, choices, and rewards along the way.

The cards and equipment you find,
and the situations you face,
may let you stay with the strategy you had in mind
or push you in an entirely different direction.

Swap companions when you need to,
rebuild your formation,
and prepare for the next battle with what you have found.

Some missions may give you everything you planned for,
while an unexpected combination may prove to be the best answer in another.

Adapt to the changing situation,
and make your way through each mission with a party of your own.

《 Another Side of the People You Met on the Battlefield 》

When battle ends, the story begins.

In the story of ARCHETYPE BLUE,
you will follow the Order of the Lake and the world that surrounds them.

A companion who seemed utterly dependable in battle
may reveal a completely different side in the story.

Someone who always wore a lighthearted smile
may carry a past they have never shared with anyone.

People who seemed to have nothing to do with one another
may be connected by an old event or a long-forgotten promise.

Laugh with them, clash with them, and make promises together
as you slowly learn the paths that brought them here.

And as the story unfolds,

actions you once could not understand begin to make sense,
and a line you barely noticed before may suddenly carry an entirely different meaning.

Meet the companions you came to know in battle again,
this time through their stories.

《 Fight Beside Them, and You Will Want to Know Them Better 》

At first, perhaps you added someone to the party simply because you liked their abilities.

Or perhaps you were drawn to their appearance or the way they spoke.

But after crossing battlefields together
and learning their story,
you may no longer see them for the same reasons you did at first.

You may find yourself wondering about the story of a companion who has fought beside you again and again.

Or you may rethink your party and tactics
for someone you came to love through the story.

Combat and story unfold in different ways,
but the people you meet in both are the same.

Fight beside them, and you grow attached.
Learn their story, and you will want them beside you again.

《 Battle and Story, Follow the Journey You Want 》

In ARCHETYPE BLUE,
mission-based combat where you build a party
and story chapters that follow the lives of its characters can be played separately.

Want to try a new combination? Head into a mission.

Want to know more about the people behind them? Continue the story.

Even as you enjoy each side of the game in your own way,
the companions you know from battle and the people you meet in the story gradually become one and the same.

And one day,

a line you barely noticed during battle
may sound entirely different once you know the story behind it.

《 More Than 50 Companions, and the Stories They Carry 》

Companions who take to the battlefield with their own unique abilities.

Four-person parties born from countless combinations.

Cards and choices that change from mission to mission.

And behind it all,
the Order of the Lake and an old story slowly coming into view.

Who will you fight beside?

What kind of party will you build?

And how much will you come to know about the people who stand beside you?

Journey alongside more than 50 companions
and discover the battles and stories of ARCHETYPE BLUE.
