In the era of scarce resources and expensive modern medicine, a natural medicine has gradually emerged, claiming that the human brain can serve as a medicine with extremely high nutritional value. So there was a business of illegally acquiring human brains in the city of Aband, involving both living and dead people. However, the prions in the human brain exposed to the air have mutated, becoming a silent infectious disease. The government initiated an emergency evacuation, but some people do not believe in the threat of zombies and would rather stay to protect their meager assets.
