【If you feel the game screen is too small】
Since "The Smell of Death - A Tsugunohi Tale - STEAM EDITION" is made with an old tool called RPG MAKER MV 2000, you cannot adjust the size in Window mode, and the screen will seem small.
By using an external tool such as "蜃気楼", you can enlarge the screen by 150-300%, so please try it if you are concerned about the small screen display.

The game starts up in full screen mode, and you can switch between Window mode and full screen mode by pressing the F4 key.

【F12 Key Function and Screenshot Limitation】
Due to the specification of the production tool (RPG MAKER MV 2000), pressing the F12 key in the Steam application will return you to the title, so screenshots cannot be taken. Please understand this.

【ABOUT THIS GAME】
This horror comes from "front"--.

ImCyan, the developer of "Tsugunohi", has released a 3D dungeon horror game on Steam almost 10 years ago.
This shocking game, which is described as a "retelling" of the "Tsugunohi" series,
as you move forward on the screen like in "Wizardry," a shocking, screaming terror suddenly keeps appearing in front of you.
Unlike other "Tsugunohi" games, the game also features battles against the monsters, which will leave you feeling stressed and overwhelmed.

This Steam Edition adds a hard mode and a post-clearance story.
[Estimated time for first-time play]
Normal mode: 60 minutes
Hard mode: 90 minutes

【POINT】
・This is an extra-legal work produced in the early days of the now very popular "Tsugunohi".
・The battle system, which is not usually used in the Tsugunohi series, is employed to create a screaming terror.
・The game is a quirky 3D game with the look and feel of a 3D game, using the techniques of RPG MAKER MV 2000, a production tool that once dominated the market.
・While "Tsugunohi" is a game that moves to the left, this game has a unique "forward" atmosphere.
