Terra Avoider is a 2.5D shooter in which the player must survive through difficult, arena based boss encounters.

The player has a number of tools at their disposal to inflict destruction on the invaders and to avoid annihilation at their hands, or whatever they have in place of hands.

• Dodge - Increases speed and become immune for a split second.

• Time Dilation - Slows down the passage of time for a brief period.

• Recharging shield - Absorbs a hit, causing the player to become immune for a couple of seconds afterwards. This also adds a multiplier to the speed of your weapon up to 5 times.

• Overheat Venting (Active reload) - Successful 'reloads' release a powerful plasma orb, whilst also adding 1/5th of a charge towards the player's shield This also increases the ship's rate of fire.

• Hard mode and level select - Unlocked after game completion. 

• Customizable key bindings and sound mixer.
