A little mushroom garden that grows on its own

Glowgrove is a relaxing idle game about growing mushrooms where they really live: a sun-dappled forest floor, a mossy fallen log, a meadow fairy ring, a dripping cave, a misty marsh and an enchanted moonlit grove. Plant a packet of spores, watch something sprout in the painted scene, and find out what it is when it grows up.

Leave it running in a corner of your screen, or close it and come back later. Your grove keeps growing while you're away.

Keep or harvest

Every grown mushroom is a small choice. Keep it and it earns a gentle trickle of Dew, even while you're offline. Harvest it for Dew and a spore print, which lets you plant any species you've already found. Early on you'll replant often; later your grove mostly looks after itself.

Fill your field journal

• 42 species across six habitats, from humble Button Caps to the glowing Crystal Crown

• Rare speckled, golden and prismatic variants: 168 journal entries to record

• Glow-in-the-dark species that shine (and grow faster) at night

Make it cozy

• Real-time day and night that follow your clock, with a moonlit version of every habitat

• Twelve decorations, from a pebble ring to fairy lights and a tiny tea set, that make each habitat cozier and more productive

• A little spray bottle: mist your mushrooms to help them grow faster

• Hire the Forager Snail to harvest and replant for you

• Soft music and gentle sounds made for leaving on in the background
