📜 About This Game

🕯️ Relentless Oppression: Clawing Through an Abyss of Malice and the Grotesque

Welcome to Wick & Slate. No fairy-tale fantasy adventures here — only skin-crawling grotesquerie and suffocating resource pressure closing in from every side. Your torch is the only light you have, and every step forward devours what little flame remains. In this malice-drenched underground, wager eyeballs and skulls as currency, and experience psychological horror and strategic brinkmanship in their purest form.

🎒 Loot, Extract, or Lose It All: A Fatal Game of Greed vs. Reason

A well-crafted deck is your blade in this roguelite expedition — but what keeps you alive is ruthless resource management. Under relentless survival pressure, you must plan your route to seize the Relics and progression resources lurking in the dark.

Don't let greed devour your judgment — only by escaping the dungeon alive do those heavy spoils in your pack become your edge for the next run.

🃏 Fate Deck & Node Reforging: A Board Game That Breaks the Rules

Strategy in Wick & Slate goes far beyond combat — it's about mastering the unknown. The path ahead hides in darkness. You must draw from the Fate Deck, pulling unknown events to lay down your own trail of peril and opportunity. What's more, you can spend your hard-scavenged resources to recklessly "upgrade" upcoming nodes on the spot. Rich rewards lurk in the shadow of high risk — do you dare stake everything you've accumulated at the edge of the deadliest abyss for one shot at turning it all around?

🩸 Carcass Dissection & Life-or-Death Choices: Flee, or Dive Deeper?

The end of each stage is where your nerves truly crack:

Trembling Dissection: Pry open the cooling, twisted husk of a fallen horror. Suppress the dread clawing at your mind as you claw through flesh and shadow for faintly glowing unknown spoils.

Black Market Deals: In dim corners beyond the torchlight, encounter enigmatic merchants. Trade blood-stained chips for one more desperate breath of survival.

Fate Preview: Glimpse the routes hidden ahead in the darkness. Weigh what little you have left. Decide: leave now with your haul, or press onward into the jaws of death.

Now you must choose: activate the portal home with a full pack of spoils? Or stare at the tantalizing rewards on the next floor… grit your teeth… and plunge deeper at the risk of everything?
