Forgefall is a cursor-driven incremental game about harvesting a scrolling forest before your lantern burns out. Break what you can, send the drops where you need them, and turn each short run into permanent progress.

HARVEST BEFORE THE LIGHT GOES OUT

Your lantern is both your tool and your timer.

Move it over trees, rocks, goblins, chests, and anything else worth breaking. Everything inside its light takes damage, but where you place the cursor matters. Resources fly away from the lantern, so attack from one side to send your haul toward the other.

Raw logs and stones are only the beginning.

Guide materials toward specialized buildings that turn them into more valuable goods. Produce the resources you need, expand your processing options, and decide which part of your growing operation needs attention next.

BUILD A BETTER LANTERN

Spend your haul on permanent upgrades between runs.

Increase your damage, widen the lantern’s reach, stretch its fuel farther, improve your processors, and unlock new resources, buildings, and sections of the forest. Each purchase lets you clear more, collect more, and push farther before the light goes out.

MAKE A MESS

The forest does not always wait patiently to be harvested.

Fires spread through trees. Storm clouds strike whatever happens to be underneath them. Bombs tear through tightly packed resources. Goblins wander into exactly the wrong place at exactly the right time.

Use the chaos to clear more than your lantern could manage alone.
