Parasomnia: No REM is a first-person psychological horror game in which the protagonist experiences episodes of sleepwalking.

While you sleep, your mind becomes trapped in the No REM state, a reality shaped by your subconscious where the rules of the waking world can no longer be trusted. Text becomes unreadable, images distort, and familiar things can take on entirely different meanings.

Close your eyes to reconnect with your consciousness in the real world. Use this mechanic to understand text, recognize images, reveal hidden elements, and uncover the clues you need to progress.

Explore environments reshaped by memory, solve puzzles, and delve into memories distorted by the protagonist’s childhood trauma.

BETWEEN SLEEP AND WAKEFULNESS

Shift between wakefulness and the unsettling No REM state, inspired by a real stage of sleep associated with sleepwalking. Images distort, text becomes unreadable, and your surroundings change as memories begin to surface.

RECONNECT WITH YOUR SLEEPWALKING BODY

While in the No REM state, close your eyes to briefly reconnect with your consciousness in the waking world, allowing you to understand text, recognize images, and reveal hidden clues.

HORROR FROM THE SUBCONSCIOUS

The horror does not rely on constant jump scares, but on the unpredictable rules of dreams and the trauma that haunts the protagonist.

Your own perception becomes part of the threat.

SOLVE TO REMEMBER

Explore, connect clues, and solve puzzles using the rules of No REM and the Close Eyes mechanic.

Each completed puzzle reveals a new fragment of the protagonist’s memories.
