LookPilot lets you look around in games using only your head and/or eyes, making flight, racing, trucking, space, and FPS titles more immersive while giving you better control and situational awareness. All you need is a webcam.

Setup is quick: install, start tracking, launch your game. Most supported games recognize LookPilot immediately. Everything runs fully on-device with low CPU usage, works even with lower-quality webcams, and supports Windows and Linux.

How It Works

LookPilot tracks head rotation and translation (yaw, pitch, roll + X/Y/Z) and optional eye rotation, then blends them into a final camera output according to your settings. Output is sent to games through standard head-tracking interfaces (TrackIR emulation / virtual joystick), so no plugins or hardware clips are required.

Key Features

6DoF Tracking: Head yaw, pitch, roll, plus forward/back, left/right, up/down translation.

Eye Tracking: Get additional control just by moving your eyes.

High-Rate Output: Responsive output at high refresh rates for smooth camera control, even from low-FPS webcams.

Quick Start: Install → Start tracking → Launch the game. Most titles work instantly; some need a one-time in-game toggle.

Low Overhead: Runs easily on CPU. No dedicated hardware or GPU required.

Cross-Platform: Windows and Linux support.

Wide Compatibility: Works with 700+ games via standard head-tracking interfaces.

Virtual Joystick: Control a virtual joystick with your head/eye movements for wider compatibility and enhanced control.

Presets: Save your own tracking presets for different games or conditions. Use community presets created by power users and share your own.

Keybinds: Recenter, toggle tracking, and switch presets on the fly.

Setup in Three Steps

1. Install & Launch: Open LookPilot and start tracking.

2. Start Your Game: Most games detect tracking automatically; if needed, enable head-tracking in the game’s options once (see the game guides for exact steps).

3. Fine-Tune (Optional): Adjust sensitivity, smoothing, deadzones, mapping, and eye influence to taste.

Customization & Presets

Protocols: Choose the communication interface (TrackIR emulation / joystick emulation).

Head Tracking Settings: Toggle axes; set input→output mapping per axis; tune sensitivity, smoothing, deadzones, and confidence threshold.

Eye Tracking Settings: Per-axis mapping and smoothing controls.

Blend Control: Adjust how much eye tracking influences the final output.

TrueView Toggle: Choose translation relative to mapped/output rotation or the real rotation.

Presets: Create unlimited presets, switch with keybinds, and share with others.
