King for a Knight is a chess adventure starring the knight piece on it's very own quest to defeat the king in a series of chess board inspired levels.

A knight's moves in chess make their moves in an "L" type shape.  Making for interesting and unique movement's across the board and might even be good practice for some chess players looking to improve their knight skills.

There are options for sound and music volume as well as options to reduce some visual effects to help make a more comfortable experience for all players. 

Controls are as simple as pointing and clicking or using the keyboard WASD and Arrow key style controls too if desired.

There is also a customization section for players to change the design and color of the light of their piece and also see stats on performance throughout the game.

Each chapter in King for a Knight has a new king with a new crown for you to collect.  You can also collect coins which you can use the in game shop to get new designs to style your piece.

With over 100 levels across 7 Chapters and challenges to take down all the pieces and number of moves challenges in each level -there's a lot of fun to enjoy for chess fans to practice their knighting skills!

Convenient new quality of life features include:

• Autosave anytime by completing a level or by opening/closing the pause menu.

• Support for mouse, touchscreen, keyboard and some game pads such as the xbox controller.

• The ability to turn off some GUI animations

• Sound and Music adjustments

• The ability to turn off Screenshake

EFFORTS:

Design considerations were made to hopefully make play comfortable or safer for photosensitive folks but I cannot guarantee it's totally safe.  I have learned a lot about it and am keeping in mind what I have learned when designing.  If there are any design issues or bothersome effects please let me know and I will try to fix them.

LANGUAGE:

While this game is currently only available in English language -it uses very little text and also uses icons to help make the game more accessible to players that don't read English.  Localization might be added at a later point.

4. COPPA Compliance

This game Software is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been inadvertently collected, we will take immediate steps to delete it. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us with personal information may contact us via our support email.
