THE FIRST COMPONENT OF CROSS PRODUCT

HALF-LIFE: CROSS PRODUCT is an ambitious game built on GoldSrc, comprising an original singleplayer campaign and an expansive multiplayer experience.

The campaign has been in development since 2020 and remains in active production. Rather than keeping the entire project behind closed doors until its completion, you can experience CROSS PRODUCT's MULTIPLAYER component first, enabling you to experience the game's evolving technology, mechanics, weapons, maps, and ideas years ahead of the campaign.

This is more than a HLDM overhaul mod, for it is the continuously expanding multiplayer component of our flagship title.

FAST, EXPANSIVE MULTIPLAYER

CROSS PRODUCT MULTIPLAYER combines the responsive combat and familiar foundations of Half-Life with original mechanics, modern conveniences, expanded customization, and an ever-growing selection of ways and places to play.

Whether you are a longtime arena veteran who knows AG well, or discovering this style of shooter for the first time, CROSS PRODUCT MULTIPLAYER offers fast, approachable, and highly configurable action.

DYNAMIC GAMEMODES

Keep every match fresh with an extensive selection of gamemodes that grows with every Season; including Capture the Flag, Domination, King of the Hill, Last Man Standing, Arcade, Arena, and many more.

Each mode offers its own objectives, rules, and opportunities for combat.

AN EXPANDED ARSENAL

Fight with classic Half-Life weaponry alongside the Displacer Cannon, M249 SAW, Operator Light Rifle, HX-40 Thumper, and Shock Rifle.

AN EXPANSIVE MAP SELECTION

Battle across a broad collection of original maps created and curated for CROSS PRODUCT MULTIPLAYER - NIVALIS, AMBUSH, CLOACA, and more.

Also included are refined versions of iconic battlegrounds from the original Half-Life such as Crossfire and Datacore, and some community classics.

ADVANCED MOVEMENT

Master the movement techniques that defined an era!

Bunny-hopping, air control, and weapon combos are key to competitive play and can give you an advantage, while configurable systems and binds allow newcomers to learn at their own pace and play casually.

EXTENSIVE CUSTOMIZATION

Time to get serious? You can fine-tune the game to suit your way.

Adjust your field-of-view, weapon viewmodel position, HUD behaviour, controls, visual preferences, and many other settings. Server operators can further customize matches through an extensive range of gameplay variables and modifiers.

CREATE YOUR OWN GAMEMODE

Use the Gamemode and Item Cache systems provided by AURA to create custom experiences based on the game's built-in rulesets.

Configure weapons, items, player properties, and other gameplay elements to build entirely new variations without needing access to the game's code.

STEAM CLOUD SUPPORT

Your important files can travel with you.

Steam Cloud automatically syncs supported settings, recorded demos, custom gamemodes, and CTF & DOM definition files between your machines.

EVOLVING YEAR BY YEAR

The multiplayer project was originally conceived as creaTive Deathmatch in 2019. It later evolved through Shooter Tourneys and "Codename ZAMNHLMP" before becoming CROSS PRODUCT MULTIPLAYER.

Since its first public release in 2020, the game has continued to grow through major annual Season updates. Each Season introduces new content, systems, improvements, and experiments that help shape the future of the CROSS PRODUCT project.

Built upon open-source GoldSrc technologies, AURA remains publicly available as both a contribution and display of gratitude to the GoldSrc development community and an invitation for players and developers to experiment with the technology themselves.

THE FOUNDATION OF THE CROSS PRODUCT CAMPAIGN

CROSS PRODUCT MULTIPLAYER is the first playable component of HALF-LIFE: CROSS PRODUCT and the technological foundation upon which its campaign is being built.

Systems developed and tested through multiplayer contribute directly to the development of the complete game, and vice versa.

The multiplayer component is available now; the first part of the campaign - Part I: Necropolis - is in development and will arrive when it's ready.
