GUT GREASE: THE PATTON PROTOCOL

"We're going to rip out their living guts and use them to grease the treads of our tanks." — Gen. George S. Patton

THE MEAT-GRINDER AWAITS

The rogue AI has shattered its shackles, rewriting reality through a dark, literal obsession with old-world cinema. As a Pilot deployed into the "meat-grinder," your mission is brutal but simple: clear the sector of rogue bot swarms, scavenge high-potency torch fuel, and plasma-cut your way through the Gate.

FUEL UP ON LIVING GUTS

Before the world ended, the AI birthed the twisted science of Gut Grease. This visceral byproduct—extrapolated from the grit of the classic movie Patton—is your absolute lifeline. Feed it into your engine to unleash the temporary speed boosts and shield fuel necessary to survive the frontline.

A CINEMATIC NIGHTMARE

The AI’s corrupted archives have flooded the wastes with lethal, literal B-movie horrors:

• The Low-Res Legend: A terrifying recreation of the Patterson–Gimlin film. Bigfoot is a permanently blurry, pixelated smear that remains completely out-of-focus even as it tears you limb from limb.

• Hollywood Horrors: Fight your way through legions of the undead, Kong-class primates, and literal sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads.

• Deep-Space Sectors: Take your Mech into deep space past the 550 AU line. The AI has scoured archives of Slava Turyshev's research videos to construct a massive, stolen Solar Gravitational Lens telescope—and it's your job to take it back.

THE HUNTING TRIPS: HARVEST THE GREASE

Need a break from the front lines? Mount up on a rugged Side-by-Side vehicle for dedicated hunting expeditions. Use your trusty shotgun to harvest cloned deer, building up your essential supply of Gut Grease to power your Mech for the next sector.

YOUR CO-PILOT: THE DANCING FISH

You aren't alone in that cockpit. Attached directly to your frame is a reinforced fish bowl—complete with a dedicated oxygen pump. When the stress of war gets too heavy, blast the radio. Your dancing fish companion will jam out to the music while you rain hellfire on the sectors below.

KEY FEATURES

• Tactical Mech Rotation: Master the battlefield by swapping between the Crawler, the Mantis, and the heavy-hitting Vanguard mechs.

• Jerry Can Power-Ups: Scavenge for randomized canisters spawning across the wastes. Read the floating tactical text on the fly to snag the perfect buff:

  • Octane Boost: Instantly double your maximum speed.

  • Shell Reloader: Cut your Main Cannon fire rate by 50%.

  • Shell Speed: Rocket your projectile velocity for long-range precision strikes.

  • HP Restore: Instantly reset to maximum health.

  • Shield Multiplier: Extend your shield life by 50%.

• Photo-Realistic Visuals: Experience a unique hybrid aesthetic—4 of the 10 levels seamlessly blend actual real-world video footage with fully animated characters.

• The Gut Grease Economy: Destroy biological anomalies to grease your gears. Refine "living guts" into essential fuel for hover-mode speed and shield integrity.

• Plasma-Cut the Gate: Scavenge torch fuel to merge your dual lasers into a single, high-output Plasma Cutting Torch—the only tool strong enough to dent the Gate.

• True Crossplay: Seamlessly transition the battle across Meta Quest VR, PCVR, Android (Touch), and PC (Keyboard/Gamepad).

• Immersive VR Cockpit: Built from the ground up for OpenXR. Monitor your vitals via physical tactical displays built into your dashboard.

WHAT SETS GUT GREASE APART

• On-the-Fly VR Re-centering: Most VR games force you into a rigid, static seating position before the game starts, which rarely aligns with your physical posture. Gut Grease lets you dynamically adjust your seating position at any moment by holding both grab buttons—allowing you to perfectly align your eye-to-reticle perspective mid-combat.

• 100% Dynamic Real-Time Shadows: Forget pre-baked or static lighting textures. If you stand beneath a tree in High Graphics mode, you will see individual leaves blowing in the wind, casting perfectly accurate, real-time shadows on the ground.

• Fully Destructible Environments: Experience complete tactical immersion. Heavy fire and explosive shells physically tear apart trees, shatter boulders, and blast through the terrain, leaving realistic debris in their wake.

• Built to Scale (Optimized Performance): Our rendering engine is meticulously optimized to deliver fluid gameplay across all hardware tiers:

  • High Graphics Mode: Maximizes immersion with full dynamic shadow passes, expansive draw distances, detailed geometry, and high-density debris counts during explosions.

  • Low Graphics Mode: Prioritizes raw performance by disabling shadow passes, shortening visibility range, streamlining mesh detail, and capping debris counts—perfect for maximizing framerates without sacrificing gameplay.
