You are the dominus of a rising gladiator school in a world ruled by steel and spectacle. Gladiatorum: Sacramentum is a deep, complex simulation where every scar tells a story, every decision echoes through blood, and where you forge the next legends of the arena.

This isn’t just about the fight. It’s about survival, loyalty, and power. Your choices shape not only the fate of gladiators, but the destiny of your entire ludus.

Train titans. Build trust. Survive the games.

Recruit and shape your gladiators across multiple classes, each with their own strengths, favored attributes, and unique background.

• Unlock new fighting styles by expanding your armory

• Keep them healthy and sharp with smart management: rations, fatigue, condition, morale, injuries

• Shape their path as gladiators enter with unique backstories, strengths, and favored attributes

Every day is a test of discipline and survival. But the arena is only the beginning.

Steel wins battles. Reputation wins Rome.

• Negotiate and compete with powerful NPCs: praetors, senators, magistrates, merchants, local politicians, patrons

• Maintain relationships and reputation: better ties bring invitations, gifts, or secret missions

• Uncover plots and secrets with agents skilled in scouting, spying, and rival sabotage

Glory opens doors. Disgrace closes them

Train and recover your gladiators through systems that reward foresight and investment:

• Armory: unlock training equipment to access new classes

• Baths: improve recovery of condition and morale via tiered upgrades

• Ration hall: manage nutrition to boost daily output and long-term development

• Infirmary: stabilize, heal, and reduce death risk after brutal matches

Every upgrade has an upkeep. Every decision has a price.

Deep staff management:

You’ll manage more than gladiators:

• Medics, to reduce downtime and increase survival rates

• Cooks, to optimize nutrition and morale

• Trainers, to accelerate stat development

• Agents, for scouting, influence, and behind-the-scenes intelligence

Your ludus is more than gladiators: it's a machine of survival and ambition.

Please the crowd. Or suffer.

The crowd system reacts to each fight. Put on a show, and you’ll earn bonuses, sponsorship, and influence. Bore them, and your fame will wither.

Gladiators can rise to fame or fall to disgrace. Their name may be whispered across Rome or forgotten in the sand.

Backstories that shape the arena

Each gladiator is generated with a unique backstory, which can lead to:

• Emergent event chains

• Personal requests or dilemmas

• Shifts in loyalty and morale

• NPC interventions or outcomes (planned)

Gladiators can rise to immortality or fall forgotten into the sand.

✅ Multi-layered gladiator management with progression, injury, and death

✅ Pre-fight speeches where your words sway a gladiator’s morale, sharpening his blade or sealing his fate

✅ Agents, plots, hidden rivalries, and scouting

✅ Distinct UI designed for depth and clarity

✅ Inspired by Football Manager, Darkest Dungeon, Crusader Kings

And much more is planned, with additional features and depth to be revealed as development progresses.

Gladiatorum: Sacramentum is currently in early development.
Built by a very small team, we’re focused on creating a solid core of systems around gladiator training, management, and tactical depth.

This is an ambitious project developed step by step as we want to build a game designed for longevity and depth. Not all systems will be available from day one, but our vision includes a fully interconnected world of loyalty, betrayal, and ambition - and we’re just getting started.
