Neighborhoods is a cozy city sim where you shape streets to help people thrive, gather, and develop strong opinions about a particular bench.

Bring Life To The City

Cities are living things - sometimes in desperate need of some life-saving care. Design blocks with plants, murals, lights, pocket parks, bike lanes, and other small civic miracles. Cultivate local businesses so they can provide groceries, shopping, activities, and that tragic necessity of capitalism: jobs.

Support Your Neighbors

Tend to neighbors so they can be happy where they live, live somewhere they can afford, and afford to stay long enough to put down roots. Make choices and watch as different blocks take on their own identities, from the fun-loving block party host, to the mellow artist collective, to the much-feared business district.

Tackle Real-World Challenges

For players who love city sims, Neighborhoods takes a fresh approach: reminding you that cities are made for people, and that people are not simple data points. The systems are rooted in modern urban design ideas: variety, density, mobility, shared spaces, and the suspiciously powerful effect of giving people somewhere pleasant to walk.

As you play, you’ll unlock Community Insight videos that explore the hidden work that goes into neighborhoods around the world - maybe even your own!
