Buy low. Sell high. Get out.

HABAP is a cozy reseller sim where you haggle with grannies, flip flea-market finds, and buy your way out of the country. Build your little shop in a nameless Cold War state where reselling for profit is a crime - and your escape plan ends with buying a plane.

It started with an inheritance: an old house, a full attic, and a junk dealer who offered a "neighborly price" for the lot. The next morning, you learned what just one of those samovars was worth.

Lesson paid for. From now on, you do the buying.

By day, hunt bargains in backyards, garages, and flea markets. Talk the price down and head home with a full trunk.

By evening, stock your shop, dress the window, and count the till. Put the profit into better premises, new districts, and your way out.

A picket fence out front. A case file at your back. One more deal, then home. Okay - maybe two.

Every haggle is a tiny boss fight

That sweet granny has a price. You have a better one.

Time your opening move to strengthen your arguments, then talk the price down. Land critical hits, build a streak, and decide whether to push for another discount or shake hands before the seller loses patience.

Push too far and the deal is off. Spot their temper rising? Cool them down and keep bargaining.

The catch: you don't get to see what's in the bag until you've bought it.

After the handshake, the reveal wheel shows what you actually bought. A rug with deer on it? A valuable samovar? Now you find out how good that deal really was.

28 vendors, each with a tell

From the granny by her garden gate to the man who can settle anything with a single phone call, everyone has a price - and a personality.

Some practically give things away if you stay for a chat. Others defend every kopeck like it's a family heirloom.

Many have signature moves: refusing to budge, catching a second wind, or raising the price halfway through your pitch. They signal the move before it lands. Read the signs, learn their habits, and turn a stubborn seller into a good deal.

Grow the shop. Lose the busywork.

Start with three shelves in your apartment. Work your way through five shop tiers to a hard-currency showroom where customers pay in coupons, not cash.

Money alone won't open every door. The right people deal in barter: bring them the items they want to unlock your next step up.

Bigger premises mean better prices and fewer chores. Let your clerk keep the shelves stocked while the wholesale buyer at the gate takes surplus goods straight off your cart.

12 districts. 240 reasons to make one more stop.

Go from a sleepy village with geese by the river to sprawling flea markets, garage rows, a science campus, the port, and a seaside resort. Beyond them lie the walled estates where even the "junk" belongs in a museum.

The farther you go, the richer the finds and the tougher the sellers.

Hunt everything from plaster swan planters and storm lanterns to treasures collectors only whisper about. Rarities stay hidden until your first discovery, and every new item type joins your catalog, adding a little extra to the till each evening.

Your collection doesn't just look good. It pays.

Your best investment is a way out

Five contacts stand between you and escape. Follow the chain from the village to the city's most expensive quarters. The last contact sells planes.

When a plan falls through, your investment isn't wiped out: the chain leads you to the next contact.

Meanwhile, a familiar face disappears from the market. Someone starts asking about you. Someone drops by while you're out.

Your shop is getting bigger. Your window to leave isn't.

Your business. Your build.

Choose your route across three upgrade grids - Field, Haggle, and Shop - with 207 cells in all. Buy neighboring cells and work toward the big bonuses in the corners.

No dead ends. No ruined builds. Just longer roads and shorter ones to a better business.

Cozy where it counts

• A failed haggle costs energy, not money. Losing an argument doesn't empty your wallet.

• Can't make rent? Move down a tier. Your apartment stays free forever. No bankruptcy, no debt spiral.

• No offline timers to babysit. Everything is earned at the counter, while you play.

What's in the bag?

• Three-stage haggling: the approach, the price battle, the reveal wheel

• 28 vendors with distinct temperaments and 240 unique items across 12 districts

• Five shop tiers, barter progression, a clerk, and a wholesale buyer

• Three upgrade grids with 207 cells to chart your own route

• A five-contact escape plan ending with a plane

• A day/evening loop, an end-of-day ledger, and 33 achievements

A warm game about old things and the people selling them. It's just that the coziness comes with a countdown.

Their junk. Your ticket out.
