About the Game:

Myth Monkey Card is a single-player card game that masterfully combines Texas Hold'em poker hand-building with Roguelike tower-climbing strategy. You play as the retired Great Sage, Sun Wukong, who, seeking new challenges, reunites with old friends and battles the heavens once more through a strategic card game.

Core Gameplay Mechanics:

• Forge Your Destiny Deck: Go beyond simple card collection. Skillfully combine standard cards with divine skill cards to form powerful poker hands like Straights and Four of a Kind during each match, activating game-changing special effects.

• Choose Your Cultivation Path: The game offers four unique progression paths, each representing a completely different strategic approach:

  • Artefact Path: Manipulate your opening hand, transform key cards into specific Demon Kings, and execute sophisticated skill combos.

  • Root Implement Path: Adopt a steady, resilient playstyle. Possess multiple lives and overwhelm opponents with superior resource management.

  • Curio Path: Bend the rules. Double your rewards or avoid catastrophic losses at the settlement phase, enabling stunning comebacks.

  • Self Path: Engage in high-stakes gambling. Disable all skills and rely purely on poker skill and the chance to reflect enemy abilities, experiencing high-risk, high-reward thrill.

• Challenge Iconic Mythological Bosses: From the Bull Demon King to the Buddha himself, each boss possesses unique skills and behaviors. Study their patterns and shatter their "Root Implement" shields to claim victory in this retirement showdown.

• Dynamically Generated Ascension Adventure: Each climb up the celestial tower is a new experience. Make choices across over 160 encounter nodes, facing random events, mysterious merchants, and resource mines where every decision matters.
