"The Case of The Golden Night Apartment" is a live-action security guard simulation and deduction game.

Game Description

• The story takes place in The Golden Night Apartment, an old building on the verge of demolition.

• A succession of bizarre murders strikes the complex: a female writer hangs, an editor drowns, a security guard plummets, and a resident is stabbed. The murderer, known as "The Frogman," publicly provokes the world by posting confessions online.

• As the demolition deadline approaches, the truth behind a serial murder case spanning the New Year is about to be revealed amidst security monitors and rampant rumors.

In-Depth Investigation

• Dive fully into the investigation—the game features a comprehensive "Frame Detective" system and a Clue Notebook to help you organize your logic.

• The core gameplay revolves around gathering evidence and formulating deductions. With a highly player-driven deduction process, every single action you take serves one ultimate purpose: piecing together the truth.

Game Core

• This is a modern urban fable of voyeurism, deception, and trust.

• Caught in a web woven by surveillance feeds and online rumors, a clandestine investigation into the truth begins.

• The screen becomes your eyes, the mouse your weapon. The truth might just be hiding in the very next frame.

Immersive experience

• Cinematic Immersion: Live-action footage creates a deeply engaging, movie-like immersive experience.

• Atmospheric Soundscapes: Original electronic music and ambient sound effects perfectly render the complex, interwoven emotions of suspense, tension, and isolation.

• Digital Voyeurism: The narrative unfolds entirely through surveillance feeds, computer screens, and a first-person perspective, delivering a highly immersive "digital voyeur" experience.

Features a wide variety of complex characters

• Players will take on the role of an undercover journalist masquerading as a night-shift security guard, interacting with various tenants, property management staff, and your direct superior.

• Every character harbors their own secrets, motives, and lies. Beyond the reach of the surveillance cameras, who are they really? Are they victims, accomplices, or the killer themselves?

The developers describe the content like this:

The game contains descriptions of crime scenes, mild blood and gore, and psychological horror elements, but features no jump scares or chase sequences. All content serves the narrative and atmosphere, aiming to create a heart-pounding deduction experience.
