Asphalt Altars: Endless Run - A survival journey where power is paid for in organs.

CoreExperience

Welcome to a world torn apart by the "Distortion Tide." Here, the entire planet has been twisted into an endlessly unfurling highway of flesh and asphalt. You were once a standout survivor in the "Survival System," driving, fighting, and scavenging each day to meet the mileage quotas imposed by the system. You held onto one belief: your sister, declared "deceased" by the system, was still out there, waiting for you somewhere on this endless road.

It was all a lie. The system is not a protector, but a cruel farm that "fattens its livestock for slaughter." When you excelled and got too close to the truth, an "accidental" assault of impossible magnitude left you broken. Trapped in the wreckage of your vehicle, on the brink of death, you heard the whisper of an older existence—a "Cthonic Deity," a native horror of this world, now awakened. It offered a deal:

"I will lend you strength, grant you rebirth, and let you continue your search."

"The price? Each time you break through to a new realm, you must 'repay your debt' to me. Fail, and I will claim one of your organs."

"When you have no organs left, your flesh and soul are mine."

CoreGameplay:WalkingaTightropeBetweenTwoSetsofRules

• Highway Survival: Drive your vehicle, struggling to survive on a highway filled with random events and monstrosities. Manage your hunger, thirst, body temperature, and vehicle condition. Fulfill the daily mandatory mileage, or trigger the system's frantic "Tide" designed to erase you.

• Cthonic Debt Cultivation: Sign a contract with a Cthonic Deity and walk the path of "Heretical Ascension." Borrow its power to fight monsters and perceive the rules of the world's other side. Each breakthrough is a countdown to a "Repayment Day"—you must gather the bizarre tributes specified by your patron, or lose a part of your body.

• Resources & Choices: Weigh your options between the system's Point Store and the deity's Flesh Pawnshop. Will you grow stronger slowly and safely with points, or mortgage your organs for immediate power? Every choice shapes your final fate.

• Cruel Dawn: Use yourself as a sacrifice to ignite everything, tearing open a sliver of light for your loved ones.

• Samsara of Kin: Find your family, only to discover they are no longer "them." Will you give up everything for an illusory reunion?

• Anomaly of the Bizarre Dao: See through the truth that all is "narrative," and become the "author" of your own fate.

One-Line Game Overview (For Store Listings/Promotion)

Asphalt Altars: Endless Run: A Roguelite strategy game that fuses highway survival driving with Chinese folklore-inspired, debt-based cultivation. Hunted by the "Survival System" in an apocalyptic world transformed into an endless road, you sign an organ-for-collateral contract with a "Cthonic Deity," navigating the dual perils of driving to survive and cultivating to repay your debt, all while searching for your last remaining family.

Player's Main Journey Overview (Second Person)

I. The Starting Point: A Farmed Consciousness

You were once an outstanding survivor in the "Survival System."

Driving your vehicle, meeting daily mileage quotas, navigating between supply crates and monster attacks, calculating points against contamination levels.

Your sole obsession was to find your sister on this endless highway—the one the system declared "deceased."

You promised each other you'd meet again alive. You believe she's still out there.

II. The Crisis: The System is No Guardian

It started with the mysterious deaths of the "elite survivors" around you.

You began to suspect that behind the system's so-called "survival" was a meticulously planned farming operation.

—Until one night, in a place that should have been safe, you were ambushed by a monster far beyond any standard threat.

Your vehicle was destroyed. You were left gravely wounded, dying.

III. The Transaction: Signing a Blood Debt with a Cthonic Deity

As your consciousness faded, in a dilapidated temple, a non-human presence stirred.

It was a Cthonic Deity, a native horror of this world, awakened by the Tide's invasion. It walks the path of "lending," with "flesh and blood" as its interest.

It said to you:

"I know your sister still lives somewhere. Borrow my power, and you can regain your body, regain your strength, and continue your search."

"The price: Each time you break through, you must 'repay your debt' to me. Fail, and I will take an organ."

"When you have no organs left, your body belongs to me."

You had no choice.

You pressed your bloody handprint onto the contract, becoming the first "Debt-Bound Ascendant."

IV. Rebirth: Existing Between Two Sets of Rules

The deity kept its promise—it remade your physical form and "reset" your identity within the system.

You are still a "Survivor," but you are something different now.

You must still complete the system's mileage, still survive on the highway, but this time, you possess the power of "Ascension."

You can borrow power from the deity, perceive another layer of the world's rules, and fight the monsters that once brought you despair.

Yet, each gain in power brings you one step closer to your "Repayment Day."

V. The Journey: Progressing Through Repayment and Exploration

This game is a survival strategy RPG that fuses "highway survival driving," "resource management," and "Chinese folklore-inspired, debt-based cultivation." The core experience is: on a never-ending distorted highway, drive to complete your daily survival mileage while engaging in a "three-way game" with the System and the Deities—using the system's resources to survive, borrowing power from the deities to fight, and under a brutal debt repayment mechanic, explore the truth of the world and make your final fateful choices.

Core in one sentence: On a bizarre road that is both highway and altar, you drive to survive, borrow power from deities to fight, and repay every bit of "cultivation" with your life.

VI. The End: Where Does Your Path Lead?

Perhaps you will find your sister, at the cost of becoming a vessel for the deity's descent.

Perhaps you will expose the system, at the cost of unleashing a more terrible corruption.

Perhaps you can break free from both, but does that "path to freedom" truly exist?

The road beneath your wheels has no end.

The debt upon your back grows heavier each day.

The person you search for remains elusive.

But you do not stop—because with every press of the accelerator, every circulation of spiritual energy, every time you press your bloody print onto a contract, you ask:

"Sis, wait for me. Before I become completely 'non-human,' I will find you."

You are on this path now.

The road is endless, debt weighs you down.

But the steering wheel is still in your hands.
