I made this game fully aware of keyboard ghosting

I’m sorry to everyone who can’t play it
It needed to exist.

⚠️YOUR KEYBOARD NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO PRESS AND HOLD ANY 4 LETTER KEYS SIMULTANEOUSLY TO PLAY⚠️

✅ What My Type of Goblin offers:

• Climb the mountain through 5 ascensions.
Each one gets progressively more challenging until you eventually question your life.

• You grow and learn. Your goblin won’t get better. You will!
Even the accessories don’t do anything. They’re purely for looksmaxxing.

• A movement system based on simultaneous key presses and physics.
People have called it “Twister for your hands.” Ohh, and there is slingshotting and fart-propulsion.

• Optional reasons to explore.
Shortcuts, hidden alternative routes, accessories, optional challenges, and achievements.

• An understanding of the struggles of being a goblin.

❌ What My Type of Goblin does NOT offer:

• Precise controls.
The focus is on historically accurate goblin movement simulation rather than precision platforming: You can only grab the defined holds, and you can only fart in the direction your bum happens to be facing. The rubbery nature of your limbs makes you wobble around. Sometimes, the solution to a section might feel like a puzzle until you fully understand how to manipulate the controls.

• A deep story.
Here is the extended Director’s Cut: “Want to be loved? Better look Gorge.”

• Audio commentary.
The demo and playtest had my recorded voice lines. Some people don’t like fart jokes, and the quality was horrible, so I banned them from the game. It’s part of the “Dev Support Pack.” If you enjoy the cringe.

• Success is not for free.
You will likely hit a wall at some point where you fail continuously. Take a break. Take a breath. Replace the screen you broke in frustration and simply try again!

This game is inspired by Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, GIRP with Bennett Foddy, and that one Mario Party minigame where you click buttons to climb as fast as possible.

And here are some GIFs, or however you pronounce them:

No jumping. No running. Just type to climb!

Slingshot with arms of rubber and slide by the power of being covered in butter.

Learn from your mistakes, or better yet, don't make any!

The challenge increases after each victory. Keep winning until you can't anymore!

Get GORGE! Collect accessories to become the world's cutest Goblin, but in your own way.
