The Pilgrimage

Every hundred years, the Starless Doors open, and the Voidborn Host returns to Varrengard. The Gloamveil plague spreads across the land, turning even those who once fought for Varrengard against you.

The age of sacrifices has ended. It is time to awaken a mighty warrior once more.

You rise as the Oathbound Champion, imprisoned within a cursed suit of armor that cannot be removed and is never silent. Inside you whispers the Iron Choir: a chorus of sacrificed souls carrying prayers, memories, rage, and regret.

Journey through rain-lashed villages, drowned mines, collapsed fortresses, and dying cathedrals as day fades into night and storms consume the world. Every ruin tells the story of a kingdom that was never meant to die, only to repeat the same suffering again and again.

As the pilgrimage unfolds, the Iron Choir responds to your world and your choices. Some souls beg for peace. Others demand vengeance. And the closer you draw to the Starless Doors, the harder it becomes to separate your own thoughts from the voices of the Choir.
