Shardbreakers is an action roguelite where you build your own spell engine.

Combine magical Shards to shape how your spells work together, then fight with the engine you created. This demo gives you a first look at Shardbreakers’ buildcraft, combat, and run-to-run experimentation across one biome with multiple hand-crafted combat rooms.

THREE CLASSES, DIFFERENT STARTING POINTS

Begin your journey as the Hunter, then unlock the Knight and Arcanist as you progress.

Each class comes with a distinct weapon, abilities, and combat style, giving you a different foundation to build from.

BUILD YOUR MAGIC. FIGHT WITH YOUR SPELL ENGINE.

Combine Skill Shards and Condition Shards to decide how your spells activate, use Modifier Shards to change their behavior, and form Resonance patterns to strengthen your build.

In combat, position yourself for better output, choose which enemies to deal with first, and time your key abilities as you fight with the spell engine you created.

A crowded battlefield isn’t just danger. It’s fuel for your spell engine.

EXPAND WHAT YOU CAN BUILD

Choose which Shards to add, replace, or upgrade as your run develops. Experiment with different combinations, discover new ways for your build to work, and carry what you learned into the next run.

Between runs, unlock new Shards and weapons to expand what you can build - not simply make every future run stronger.
