“If only I could go back in time.”

YOBI is a journey of rediscovery, a nostalgic return to the neighborhood of your childhood.

You play as Jian Jun, a young adult navigating the relentless grind of adult life. By a stroke of chance, she finds herself stepping back into the old, weathered neighborhood where she grew up. Amidst the sweltering heat of a remembered summer, you will piece together a long-forgotten childhood friendship through scattered relics, fading memories, and dust-covered dreams. Meanwhile, an adventure in another dimension quietly unfolds. This is a deeply personal, emotionally resonant, and lingering journey about memory, loss, and dreams.

Dual Timelines, Shifting Styles

The game weaves between two distinctly different dimensions. Stroll through a serene, nostalgic childhood neighborhood: Search for old belongings and solve atmospheric, environment-based puzzles. Immerse yourself in a pure emotional experience at a soothing pace. Every detail here is steeped in the unique warmth and daily hustle of the 2000s.

Embark on a light sci-fi adventure: carry out missions across the cosmos. Featuring mini-games, light action-puzzle challenges, and interactive gameplay, this timeline injects a lively rhythm into the narrative. The visual aesthetic draws heavy inspiration from styles like Frutiger Aero.

The two storylines mirror and intertwine with each other, co-authoring a beautiful loop of memory and farewell.

Relics of Nostalgia and Fragments of Memory

The neighborhood is scattered with vintage objects that define an era: faded grid notebooks, bulky CRT televisions... Each item carries the potential to trigger hidden dialogues or awaken locked memories. Collect them to piece together a childhood that is slowly drifting away.

Atmospheric Puzzles, Tailored for Immersion

The puzzles are seamlessly integrated into the story and environment. With a moderate difficulty level, they gently guide you to observe the scenes from new angles—to listen closely to the whispers carried by the wind and the chirping of cicadas. Here, exploration itself becomes a vessel for emotion.

A Purely Emotional Experience

With a deliberate, gentle pace, the visuals and soundtrack harmonize to evoke a warm yet wistful nostalgia. This game is dedicated to players who wish to slow down, quiet their minds, and lose themselves in a deeply personal story.
