Survive the Drowned Remains of the Nine Realms

The gods are dead. After Ragnarök, only the endless, hungry sea remains. In Waters of Ragnarök, you command a ship of desperate survivors sailing the shattered ruins of the Norse world. This is not just a voyage; it is a brutal struggle to build a new legend upon the bones of the old world.

Command & Customize Your Ship

The center of your survival is your vessel, powered by a Jötunn Heart - a magical core that fuels your ship’s abilities.

• Grid-Based Refitting: Deeply customize your ship with a modular grid system. Install runic systems, reinforced hulls, specialized sails, and heavy weaponry.

• Dynamic Crew Roles: Recruit and manage specialized Heroes. Move your crew between roles like the Boarding Master, Skald, or Mystic on the fly to adapt to incoming threats.

Tactical Naval & Boarding Combat

Engage in real-time naval warfare with a tactical pause system that allows for precise execution.

• Subsystem Targeting: Don't just fire blindly. Target enemy sails to cripple movement, or aim for the hull to send them to the depths.

• Brutal Boarding: Close the distance to launch boarding actions. Use your Boarding Masters to seize enemy cargo, execute rival heroes, and capture legendary relics.

• Special Abilities: Channel the lingering power of the fallen Æsir to turn the tide of battle, managing the energy output of your Jötunn Heart.

Explore a Procedural, Mythic Sea

The world is a mix of handcrafted landmarks and procedurally generated danger across multiple distinct biomes.

• Dangerous Expeditions: Launch landing parties into ancient ruins, monster lairs, and volcanic outposts. Manage supplies and hero skills to survive traps and curses.

• Environmental Survival: Navigate boiling volcanic waters, blinding magical fogs, and treacherous iceberg fields.

Forging a Path Through the Ruins

Between voyages, dock at Strategic Harbors to interact with a world of survivors.

• Narrative Choice: Engage in dialogue trees with NPCs to uncover rumors, gain faction reputation, and accept high-stakes contracts.

• Hero Recruitment: Find new allies in towns or rescue them from shipwrecks, or earn their loyalty through legendary deeds.

• Non-Linear Progression: Brave higher-level biomes early if you have the skill—but be prepared for the mythic horrors that guard them.
