Build a cosy world. Then step inside.

A cottage beside a lake. A garden tucked into the woods. A tower with a view you could sit and watch for hours.

Thalyn is a cosy worldbuilder for making places you want to spend time in. Begin with simple choices, text or your voice, then build from above in God mode or get close in first person. Shape the landscape, add the little details, open a door and make yourself at home.

Start with an included collection of cottages, towers, trees, gardens and scenery. No coding or 3D modelling experience needed.

MAKE SOMEWHERE YOUR OWN

Lay a path to the water. Draw a fence around your garden. Place lights, seats and little corners worth stopping for. Save favourite arrangements to use again in another world.

Your buildings become places to explore, with walkable rooms, floors and stairs. Add windows and doors, open the shutters and find your favourite view.

CHOOSE HOW IT FEELS

Pick a mood and let the landscape, light, weather and wildlife respond together. Make somewhere serene or joyful, or follow your imagination into an eerie forest or a desolate landscape.

Use simple choices, type an idea or describe it aloud. Change your world’s visual style while you stand inside it, and see a familiar place in a different light.

Thalyn draws on environmental psychology to guide how its spaces come together. You decide what makes yours feel like home.

LET NATURE MOVE IN

Add ivy, moss and lichen. Watch for deer, foxes, rabbits and songbirds. Let the weather change the character of a place you thought you knew.

Build a tree house, hang a swing or sit beside a fire. Bring a DRM-free book to read in the rain. Some days, enjoying the world is the whole point.

KEEP IT. SHARE IT. TAKE IT FURTHER.

Export your creations as glTF scenes to keep, share and use in compatible 3D tools. For creators who want to take things further, that includes workflows using Blender, Unity and other software with suitable glTF support.

The same seed and settings rebuild the same generated landscape, giving you a starting point to revisit and make your own.

Our developing website World Showcase will demonstrate actual Thalyn-made glTF exports in a browser. Finished showcase worlds and hosted sharing links are still being prepared.

A QUIET STORY HIDDEN IN THE WORLDS YOU MAKE

Planned for the main release, ThalynQuest is an optional, zero-pressure journey through worldbuilding puzzles.

Follow story clues and create worlds through the seeding system to unlock an approximately 50,000-word story, one chapter at a time. Along the way, earn exclusive cosmetics that cannot be bought or acquired elsewhere.

Complete ThalynQuest to unlock floating islands and take your worldbuilding above the clouds.

You can enjoy Thalyn’s core building and exploration without taking part. Floating islands are a reward available only by completing ThalynQuest in the main app.

ThalynQuest and floating islands will not be available in the November 2026 demo.

YOUR FINISHED CREATIONS ARE YOURS TO KEEP AND USE

Under the Thalyn licence, you can keep, modify, share and commercially use your finished exported worlds without a Thalyn royalty.

The included asset library remains licensed content. Its assets cannot be extracted and redistributed as standalone files or repackaged as a separate asset library. Any assets you import remain subject to the rights you hold in them.

ONE PURCHASE. NO SUBSCRIPTION.

Creating new worlds uses Awen, Thalyn’s replenishing creative energy. It refills daily and is never sold. Exploring, decorating, editing and exporting worlds you have already generated do not consume generation credits.

World generation and export require an internet connection and a free Thalyn account. Exported files can be used offline in compatible software.

THE DEMO AND WHAT COMES NEXT

The downloadable Steam game demo is targeted for November 2026, with glTF export and building using the included asset collection. Its final feature list will be confirmed before it becomes available.

The main paid release is planned for 30 April 2027. Personal FBX model importing and ThalynQuest are planned for that release. Floating islands unlock only after completing ThalynQuest in the main app.

The demo does not include personal FBX importing, ThalynQuest or floating islands. Roblox export remains under compatibility testing.

The website’s World Showcase is a separate browser viewer for exported worlds; it is not the downloadable game demo.
