In a town held by checkpoints and paperwork, every romance is a negotiation.

Occupied Hearts is an Adult Romance Visual Novel set in a sunlit Mediterranean coastal town under foreign military occupation—beautiful stone streets, a silent dry fountain, and the ever-present reminder that stability comes at gunpoint. You play as Captain Declan, the "friendly face" of civil affairs, trained to win hearts and minds with permits, aid, and smiles—while the town learns that kindness from a soldier is never just kindness.

Three women's lives intersect with Declan's authority in intimate, uncomfortable ways: a baker whose livelihood depends on his signature, a translator trapped between two languages and two betrayals, and a dissident released into his custody with her freedom recorded in his files. One choice sets your route—one relationship becomes the center of the story—and the game refuses to let romance hide from the machinery that makes it possible.

Meet the Cast

Leda — "The Unbroken"
A former journalism student detained for telling the truth, released under supervision—into Declan's custody, with weekly check-ins that turn every conversation into a power imbalance you can't ignore. Leda's defiance is precise and controlled: one minute late, answers that reveal nothing, a gaze that reads the room like evidence. Her route is the most direct confrontation with coercion—where tenderness, resistance, and survival blur until neither you nor she can name what's real.

Katrin — "The Bridge"
The occupation's indispensable translator—and her community's convenient traitor—Katrin lives between languages where meaning can be softened, delayed, or quietly weaponized. Declan is the only person who treats her like more than a tool, and that attention becomes its own form of gravity in her isolation. Their relationship is intimacy through translation: the beauty of shared words set against the brutal truth that she's mediating the machinery that hurts her people.

Maren — "The Ledger"
A fourth-generation baker keeping her late father's oven lit in a town where flour is controlled by military permits—and the signature on hers is Declan's. Maren is warmth and work made human, offering bread with a smile that may be hospitality, survival, or both; her heart keeps accounts even when her mouth doesn't. With Declan, romance becomes an arithmetic of dependence: what's freely given, what's owed, and what can never be repaid.

Key Features

• Three romance routes, one defining choice: A single-choice structure that commits you to one relationship—and forces you to live with what that commitment costs.

• A Mediterranean setting under occupation: Sunlit stone streets and a silent dry fountain contrasted with rationing, surveillance, curfews, and the quiet violence of "administration."

• Romance shaped by leverage: Permits, employment status, and parole check-ins shape every scene—because under occupation, power is always in the room.

• Literary storytelling with recurring motifs: Bread, ledgers, translation, files, and the smallest choices become symbols that turn everyday tenderness into a reckoning.

• Explicit adult content in every route: Each romance route includes explicit adult scenes between Captain Declan and the chosen character.
