This is — Otheream.

An unexplained incident traps high school student Josie inside a terrifying, eerie campus from another realm.

Every inch of this place reeks of danger, with deadly threats hiding in every shadow.

Thick black fog shrouds the grounds all year long; faceless students appear and vanish out of nowhere, muttering unintelligible, bizarre words.

If you hope to break out of this cage, your only path to freedom is to complete what they name the "Test of the Gods".

Josie crosses paths with several other trapped survivors.

The group explores the academy together, gathers clues, and searches for the truth amid traps made of rigid rules and endless lies.

When you stand before the ultimate Gate of Fate, will you follow the rules and finish the test to escape, or cast off your chains and rise to wage war against the gods?

Every twist of fate is entirely up to you.

The worldbuilding of Otheream draws on the original suspense-horror comic series Parallel (詭聞齋).

This franchise originates from a black-and-white horror comic collection created by 九日十夜.

CASCHA later partnered with the original author to adapt it into story-focused text adventure games.

Three interactive narrative titles have been released so far: Ghost in the Pool, Concealed, and Weirdo.

All stories are set at Diyingling High School, with interwoven timelines and character connections.

Within Parallel (詭聞齋):

• Rumors are never made up

• All incidents link to one another

• The truth is never whole

Unlike standard visual novels, Parallel (詭聞齋) adopts comic-panel storytelling and omits lengthy narration and text blocks.

It blends comic presentation with classic AVG gameplay for fully immersive visuals.

Key choices unlock branching paths and butterfly effects, letting players steer every plot shift.

Its exclusive comic-game hybrid format delivers a one-of-a-kind gaming experience.

CASCHA GAMES was co-founded by original Parallel manga creators Cascha and Joey.

We craft grounded, realistic supernatural tales rooted in absurd yet plausible everyday oddities, leaving final judgment entirely to players.

As a niche horror IP, we warmly invite all Parallel fans to join our official QQ & Discord communities. We actively gather feedback and communicate closely with fans to polish our works, aiming to build a modern-day equivalent of Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio.

We are also recruiting volunteer translators to proofread English, Japanese, Korean, and other localizations, helping our oriental-style ghost stories reach worldwide audiences.
