Lead a Kingdom under attack! Plan ahead, optimize, and adapt in a procedural world where every choice comes at a cost. Easy to understand, tough as nails to beat. If you want to dip your toes in the strategy genre without being overwhelmed by complexity, this game is for you.

Kingdom Architect

Grow your Kingdom from a small settlement into a large empire! Harvest the land for resources, establish supply chains, and craft over 20 distinct buildings while carefully balancing economy, happiness, and defense.

• Consider locations for optimal output, adjacency bonuses, and to expand the buildable area

• Plan out an efficient layout on limited space with room for bustling towns, industrial hubs, farmlands, and fortifications

• Ensure your people are satisfied with access to recreation and away from noisy industries

• Unlock new buildings and resources

Trade with Allies

A merchant vessel has reached your port! It carries settlers looking for a new home, and offers various goods for you to engage with - If the price is right.

• Sell your surplus resources and buy exotic materials that cannot be produced in your Kingdom

• Unlock new trade partners and improve trade relationships to fine-tune deals and offerings

• Trade offers change daily! Make sure to compare offers and get what you need before the merchants disembark

Hold the Line

Your Kingdom is at war with ruthless Vikings! Defend your people against increasingly tougher invasions with an array of defensive structures that synergize in interesting ways.

• Upgrade individual towers to unlock new capabilities and strengthen defenses in specific areas

• Dominate the battlefield with lethal crossfire setups, traps, and impenetrable fortifications

• Vikings destroy your land tiles! Adapt to the new terrain and manage a growing Kingdom on shrinking space. The land itself becomes a vital resource, and raids have a truly lasting impact - even if you survive.

Meet the Roster

Each run presents a new roster of procedurally generated characters to choose from, each with their own unique abilities. No matter who you put on the throne, there are trade-offs and interesting synergies to consider.

• Thousands of ability combinations make each run special

• Abilities synergize with other systems and create unique engine-building combinations

• Leaders that win games are saved - Build a strong roster and keep your favourites as you take on tougher challenges

Each Run is Different

A peasant revolt, an ancient curse, or a market crash? Each run is bound by dynamic systems, where unexpected events force you to adapt and make the best of difficult situations. Can you steer the ship through the storm?

While the game is intense and difficult, you can always play at your own pace. Pause time whenever you want, and plan your moves without stress - or speed it up if you dare!
