You are Sam, a person born with emotional numbness who cannot perceive, comprehend or resonate with any human feelings. By a strange twist of fate, you awaken a one-of-a-kind supernatural gift: the ability to traverse the subconscious inner worlds of others, extract raw emotional essences from their souls, and craft bespoke desserts infused with those distinct sentiments.

This extraordinary power draws a motley crowd of people with hidden motives and conflicting desires to your dessert shop. As you navigate ambiguous flirtation, delicate emotional entanglements and shifting interpersonal dynamics, your bonds with these strangers deepen steadily. Along the way, you may gradually uncover the buried truth behind your sudden supernatural awakening.

The story unfolds in a modern-day European setting. Raised in an orphanage, you have never experienced genuine affection, longing or heartache. Five lost souls, each haunted by untold trauma and craving emotional healing, drift into your life one after another. You forge uncanny, intimate connections with every individual, and stumble upon the obscured, supernatural underbelly of the mundane world you once knew.

Playable Character Profiles

Protagonist: Sam

Age: 24 | Gender: Female | Occupation: Dessert Shop Proprietor

From the moment you gained self-awareness, emotional empathy has been entirely foreign to you. After graduating from a professional baking institute, you co-founded your standalone dessert shop alongside your only long-term companion. In recent months, you have begun to witness tangible emotional auras lingering on other people’s bodies, and eventually unlocked the capacity to step directly into their inner subconscious realms.

Key Companion: Alysa

Age: 23 | Gender: Female | Occupation: Dessert Shop Clerk

Bright, warm and endlessly upbeat, Alysa is as sweet and approachable as the confections you sell. She has stood by your side for years, never judging your inability to read social cues or feel empathy. She quietly compensates for your emotional blind spots in daily work and life, and you harbour silent, unspoken gratitude for her constant loyalty.

Playable Route Character: Kel

Age: 22 | Gender: Male | Occupation: Recent University Graduate, Neighbouring Bakery Staff

Shy, socially reserved and perpetually awkward in face-to-face communication, Kel carries a host of unspoken anxieties he cannot articulate. You once crafted soothing emotional desserts out of casual kindness to ease his inner turmoil, yet this small gesture gradually fosters an unhealthy emotional dependence within him.

Playable Route Character: Jinx

Age: 23 | Gender: Female | Occupation: Independent Live Streamer & Online Content Creator

Bold, domineering and brash, Jinx invades your quiet shop unannounced with her filming equipment in tow. She comes across as arrogant and overbearing to outsiders, but behind her abrasive public persona lies a fragile inner self rarely revealed to anyone. Only those who gain her full trust can witness this vulnerable side.

Playable Route Character: Mable

Age: Undisclosed | Gender: Female | Occupation: Florist

Possessing ethereal, understated elegance far beyond ordinary civilians, Mable presents herself as a gentle, generous regular customer. Her consistent generosity brings stable income to your shop, until an anonymous cryptic invitation from her disrupts the peaceful routine of your business.

Playable Route Character: Aman

Age: Undisclosed | Gender: Male | Occupation: University Lecturer

Witty, laid-back and wildly popular among student cohorts, Aman is a charismatic local university lecturer with subtly forward interpersonal boundaries. He effortlessly injects spontaneous excitement into your monotonous, emotionally vacant daily life, and maintains seamless rapport with you from your first encounter.

Extended Gameplay Features

Beyond core visual novel storytelling, the game integrates side-scrolling exploration, collectible hunting and lightweight environmental puzzle-solving. Every character’s inner subconscious realm boasts completely unique visual aesthetics, logic and hidden rules. Collect scattered soul fragments and forgotten mementos within these spaces to unlock their classified secret memories, many of which contain clues linked to your own forgotten childhood origins.

Dynamic dialogue interaction: Communicate with favoured characters via custom emoji replies to unlock exclusive conversational branches. Distinct emoji choices trigger divergent character responses and hidden side storylines, adding depth to casual daily interactions.

Shop cosmetic iteration: New emotional desserts you develop can be displayed in shop front windows to attract random passing customers. Reaching high affinity thresholds with individual characters will reward you with limited-edition interior decorations for customising your dessert shop.

People often claim that the fastest way to capture someone’s heart is to win their stomach first. Your supernatural talent bends this rule to its extreme: you can bake desserts that perfectly align with a person’s deepest subconscious cravings, with zero known physical side effects. The only hidden cost is collateral emotional overload—intense, repressed feelings from your targets may flood your numb consciousness temporarily after you use your power.

For the most part, this ability streamlines all interpersonal interactions, eliminating the need for tedious social negotiation. Yet it also strips away human pretense: every shameful secret, repressed trauma and masked vulnerability hidden in others’ hearts is laid bare before you. What will happen when these people discover you have seen every part of them they sought to hide?
