LIMINAL is a first person exploration and industrial salvage game set in an infinite, seeded world. There is no map, quest log, or trail of objective markers. You learn the world by walking it.

COMMAND A WALKING INDUSTRY

Plant a Root Beacon and send six legged harvesters into the fog. They cut into objects and foundations, return visible cargo, and divide large structures between them. Recover steel, copper, rubber, plastic, glass, stone, and intact machine components.

Merge three harvesters into a Walking Foundry, fabricate new machines, deploy relays to extend the network, and build Shaft Crawlers for deep excavation. Pick up the Root Beacon and your mobile fleet folds up to follow.

BRING DOWN MEGASTRUCTURES

Remove a structure's support and full-height sections break free, fall under physics, settle, and remain as harvestable wreckage. The ruin you create becomes the material for what comes next.

Thresholds lead to 47 procedural realms with distinct terrain, architecture, materials, weather, skies, sound, and physical character: flooded museums, abandoned malls, impossible pools, black forests, lunar offices, snowbound stations, cloud cities, and places that resist easy description.
