You start with one island. Drop a miner, run a conveyor, set up an exporter, and a factory starts to take shape. Do it your own way, at your own pace. Before long you're buying a second island and shipping resources between the two, building something bigger with every decision.

Island Miner is a relaxing automation game where you build factories across a growing chain of islands. No enemies. No timers. No pressure. Just the work of turning an untouched island into a well-run production line.

Small Islands, Big Decisions

Your islands are your workspace, and they're finite. Each one is procedurally generated with its own shape, resource availability and spread, so every placement decision matters. Fit machines, conveyors, and logistics into whatever space the island gives you: canyons, arches, cliffsides, beaches. Every layout is a constraint, and working within it is the challenge.

Connect Your Islands

Your first island is just the start. As you grow, you'll link islands together, move resources between them, and combine materials from different locations to unlock more advanced ones. A simple mining outpost can become a supplier. A refining island can become a hub.

From Ore to Advanced Materials

The production system runs deep. Raw resources are fed into refiners, turned into usable materials, then combined into increasingly advanced ones. Ore refines into metal. Metal combines into things like asphalt or diesel. Each step up the chain opens new revenue opportunities, and since each island can specialize in part of the chain, the whole network starts to work like one machine.

Handle With Care

Not every resource is patient. Some materials spoil if they sit on a conveyor too long, so your logistics need to keep up with your production. Getting the right resources moving in the right direction, at the right pace, matters as much as producing them in the first place.

Play the Market

Everything you mine, refine, and combine can be sold on the Galactic Market, and demand is always shifting. Pay attention and pivot production toward what's in demand for better returns. Deciding what to produce, when to stockpile, and when to sell adds a layer of timing as the game scales. Market earnings are also how you buy new islands and unlock new buildings, so trading well matters.

Keep Your Islands Beautiful

Mining and refining come with a cost: pollution. Let it build up and smog rolls in, cutting visibility and triggering a Pollution Tax on your earnings. Pollution Scrubbers bring levels back down, but they produce their own waste that needs managing too. How you arrange your refiners, which upgrades you invest in, and where you place your scrubbers all affect how clean, and how profitable, your islands stay.

Key Features

• Procedurally generated islands: canyons, arches, cliffsides, beaches, each with its own shape and resource constraints

• Deep production chains: mine, refine, and combine resources into increasingly valuable materials

• Inter-island logistics: connect your islands into a coordinated production network

• Pollution management: smog, taxes, and scrubbers make careless expansion costly

• Dynamic Galactic Market: read demand, diversify your output, and grow your empire

• Volatile resources: some materials spoil on the conveyor, so your logistics have to keep up

• Machine upgrades: scale up as you unlock new production milestones

Island Miner is for anyone who loves the hum of a factory running at full capacity, without the stress of getting there. Start with a single island, and see how far you take it.
