Kharastan runs on oil. Five regions, seven flags, one Consortium that owns the credit lines every nation needs to keep the lights on. For more than a century the game was simple: pump, trade, and bury your rivals in hostile takeovers. Then a seismic team in the south of Sheba picked up a number that did not belong to planet earth. A signal from somewhere, outside of our solar system. Buried beneath it, navigation beacons for something the Vorran have been building on the red sands of Mars for longer than anyone has been trading crude. They have a name for the one in charge. Nihlex. The architect of the end. And he is not only coming for your oil. 

THE CAMPAIGN: FROM THE MEETING HOUSE TO MARS

A campaign of twelve story missions carries you from the Nabataea meeting house to a far away planet. Escort a convoy into the desert, break a coastal blockade, and push the war to its end game on Mars.

EVERY ROUND IS A WORLD

Each strategic round is four phases, played out across two views that share one world. In the Strategic view, you place your base, push influence, and decide what kind of power you want to be. In the Economic phase, you play a per-region stock board — found companies, buy shares, trigger mergers, and watch the Consortium try to out-bid you. Influence earned here flows directly into region payouts at Upkeep.

TURN BASED COMBAT

When the Tactical phase begins, every base on the strategic map drops onto a single hex map and the fight plays out. Defend your garrison, attack, gain bounties, destroy the enemies' oil refineries to cripple their income.

You're in for the long game. You have to make progress. Close distance, force a favorable trade, deny the enemy a capture. The battle continues next round, and the side that built better influence in the meantime arrives with more cash, more oil, and a richer economy.

RESEARCH IS KEY

A diverse research tree branches across Ground, Air/Naval, Orbital, and a Special Forces off-node. It unlocks unit types, specializations, and combined-arms options. Infantry needs armor to break a strong bandit camp. Armor needs air cover. Air needs AA. The hardest content demands you bring a real combined force.

BANDIT CAMPS, ALIEN HORDES, LIVING MAPS

Bandit camps sit near the Consortium base with oil and cash bounties. Random camps spawn in the contested interior. They fight back and pay out when cleared. And every few rounds Nihlex sends reinforcements from the homeworld, warped in to push you off the map. Diplomacy is not part of their vocabulary.
