Every run, you build an engine out of charms, skills, and tarots. The best ones break the game.

CHARMS

You hold five charms, and they decide how your run plays. There are nearly 150 of them. One turns your gold into damage. One triples your Spell Rage when every skill shares an element. One gives you 40 Spell Rage for 100 Max HP. Find charms that feed each other and your damage stops adding up and starts multiplying.

SPELL RAGE

Spell Rage multiplies every hit. You start with Rage equal to your level, and your charms add to it, multiply it, and grow it with your build. More rage, higher damage.

SKILLS

Over 330 magic skills across 13 elements, and you carry four: one for a single target, one for every enemy, and two utilities. When you level up, you choose how they grow: learn a new skill, make one cheaper, make it hit harder, or upgrade it. Find something better and the old one is gone. This ain't no deckbuilder.

TAROTS

22 hand-drawn tarot cards that pay homage to my favorite games. Each one is a one-time miracle: kill the weakest enemy, take an extra turn, or bet your whole charm court on a single charm. Holographic cards survive their first use, Foil cards power up your next skill, and Negative cards give you an extra hand slot.

EASY TO PLAY, DEEP TO MASTER

Every turn is one choice: pick a skill, pick a target. Hover over anything to see what it does, on a mouse or a controller. The depth is in what you build.

THE JOURNEY

• Chart a branching route through battles, shops, taverns, and strange encounters.

• Evolve your class by how you play. Start from one of 3 classes and grow into more than 15. If you're an evil bastard, the holy ones won't have you.

• Meet zany characters and hire companions along the way.

• Survive 8 biomes while managing your HP and SP across each act. Resources are scarce.
