A Retro Future That Never Existed

What if the polygon graphics of the early 1990s had the power of today's hardware?

The Omega Strain answers that question.

Powered entirely by the custom-built RetroMesh Engine, The Omega Strain recreates the clean, low-poly aesthetic of classic arcade 3D while delivering smooth gameplay, massive worlds and spectacular battles on modern PCs.

Save Eight Worlds

A deadly alien strain is spreading across the galaxy.

Travel between eight handcrafted planets, each featuring unique environments, weather systems, enemies and objectives.

Explore frozen landscapes filled with drifting snow, fly through violent thunderstorms above dense rainforests, cross scorching deserts, and face increasingly dangerous alien forces.

Every planet introduces new gameplay mechanics, ensuring that every mission feels different.

Fast, Skill-Based Combat

Master six degrees of freedom as you engage relentless enemy forces.

Face swarms of agile drones.

Hunt airborne bombers before they release devastating payloads.

Outmaneuver deadly battleships.

Defeat gigantic Motherships capable of deploying entire attack waves.

Victory depends on precision flying—not grinding for upgrades.

Endless Simulation Mode

Completing the campaign is only the beginning.

Unlock Simulation Mode, where the military prepares for future outbreaks by generating endless combat scenarios.

Procedurally combined planets, objectives, enemy waves and increasing difficulty ensure that no two sessions are alike.

Compete globally for the highest score and survive as long as possible.
