Think weapons are only useful when equipped? Think again. Weapons are meant to be thrown.

Arcane Abyss is a turn-based roguelite where you fight by throwing weapons.

Swords, axes, spears—throw them straight from your hand of cards to attack monsters.

Transfer abilities through weapon synthesis, then combine them with skill cards to find your own way to fight.

Make weapons collide to trigger Resonance and get even more out of the abilities you've added.

Delve into the Abyss in search of rare weapons!

Is it the weapon you want—or its ability?

There's more to a new weapon than simply using it as it is. Use it as synthesis material to transfer its abilities to another weapon.

For example, add an ability that draws a card when you deal damage to a weapon you use often. Now you can replenish your hand with your next weapon while attacking enemies.

Will you choose raw attack power, or an ability that fits your current build? Even a weapon you'd normally overlook might hold the missing piece of the combination you've been looking for.

Change the way you fight with skill cards

Skill cards grant passive abilities that take effect automatically once acquired. There's no need to activate them manually in battle.

MP Cost Reduction makes weapons with high MP costs easier to use. Life Steal restores HP based on the damage you deal. Sword Mastery enables sword attacks to land critical hits—and that's just the beginning.

Do you want more attacks, a reliable source of healing, or one devastating blow?

Combine weapon abilities and skills to shape your fighting style. With synthesis and skill cards, the possibilities for growing stronger are endless.

Resonance between weapons

Thrown weapons remain on the battlefield. Hit one with another weapon to trigger Resonance, drawing out both weapons' abilities. Strike groups of monsters with wide-area attacks and special attacks.

When a Resonance attack catches other weapons in its path, it triggers further Resonance. Even simply scattering weapons around the battlefield can lead to an unexpectedly powerful attack.

Keep an eye on weapon abilities that activate repeatedly through Resonance, too. As Resonance triggers again and again, synergies make those abilities more and more powerful.

It's the perfect chance to test the weapons you've enhanced through synthesis alongside your skills. Take advantage of terrain altered by elemental effects and aim to wipe out every monster.

What build will you try this time?

Choose four abilities through runes before setting out, and your adventure begins.

Choose your route through a branching map and work toward defeating the boss. Alongside weapons dropped by monsters, the armory lets you pick one weapon from three options. Put your build together through synthesis and skills.

Start your build from scratch on every run.

Pursue the combination you had in mind, or change course to suit the weapons you find—the choice is yours. An ability you ignored last time might become the centerpiece of your build this time around.
