Whatever went wrong with the spell didn't just stop the tower, it knocked the whole thing over sideways and buried eight regions under enchanted brick. The Wreckers' Order marched in after him, and never marched back. They left a trail, though.

You wake up somewhere in the wreckage with no memory of who sent you, and only one very literal way forward: down.

What you're actually doing

Breaking brick is the whole job. Smash through a layer and a new one grows in underneath it. Spend what you dig up on talents that hit harder and drills that dig faster.
