Think Beyond the Board

Star Tri-D Chess is a modern take on the legendary concept of three-dimensional chess.

Here, calculating moves on a single plane isn't enough. The playing space consists of seven interconnected boards, and mobile attack boards constantly reshape the geometry of the battlefield. Every move can open new lines of attack, reshape the strategy of the entire game, and force you to see the position in a completely new way.

Classical chess teaches you to control the board. Star Tri-D Chess teaches you to control space.

An Opponent Who Talks Back

At its core, the game runs on its own chess engine. It has nothing to do with neural networks, never sends anything anywhere, and works exactly like any other classic chess AI — it just calculates moves.

On top of that, you can optionally turn on NeuralTick AI — a local language model that runs entirely on your own device, with no internet connection required, toggled on or off anytime with a single switch.

When it's on:

• Comments on key moves out loud — its own and yours — right as they happen

• Helps pick between several strong options instead of just blindly calculating

• Speaks 4 languages: English, Русский, Español, 中文 — switch anytime, even mid-game

Not a fan of AI commentary? Just leave the option off and play against the plain engine, like in any other 3D chess game.

No other 3D chess game gives you an opponent like this — but whether to use it is always your call.

Why It's So Addictive

• 7 boards, one living playing space

• Attack boards reshape your strategy on the fly

• Combinations across levels — things regular chess simply can't do

• Attack and defend on multiple levels at once

• Attack-line visualization shows what you'd otherwise have to track in your head

4 Levels — From Beginner to Master

Easy — learn without fear of mistakes

Normal — a fair, steady opponent

Tactician — starts putting up real resistance

Expert — a tough positional player that finishes winning positions

Want it even more interesting — turn on the commentator at any level.
