CoreVore is a single-player mining roguelite built around destructible voxel worlds and systemic physics. Land on procedural planets, scan the depths, extract valuable ore, and send your haul into orbit.
But remember: the planet itself is your enemy, and every disaster is brought closer by your own decisions.
Remove a support and the ceiling may collapse. Breach an underground lake and your mine begins to flood. Cut too close to lava and you might seal your only route home. Water flows, ice melts, lava hardens, loose rock gives way, and a wounded planet begins to shake beneath your feet.
These systems collide to turn every expedition into a new story.
Destroy—and live with the consequences
Every tunnel changes the planet. Damage to the rock persists for the entire expedition, structural supports matter, and aggressive mining destabilizes the world faster.
The deeper you descend, the richer the deposits become—and the more dangerous the journey back.
Choose the right tool
Use the Laser to extract ore with precision. The Volume Cutter carves tunnels quickly but leaves no valuable drops behind. Scan for deposits through solid rock. Freeze water, harden lava, and melt ice with Thermal mode. Blast through sealed passages with explosive Charges—but risk destroying the ore inside.
Every tool solves one problem while creating another.
Deploy temporary machinery
Set up autonomous Drill Rigs, Stabilizers, Drainers, Hardeners, and Light Beacons. Each machine controls a limited working area, but none of them makes the planet safe.
An undermined floor, a cave-in, or a lava breach can destroy your investment. There are no permanent bases here: recover your equipment or leave it behind.
Secure your haul—or risk one more run
Store your cargo in the escape pod and launch protected batches into orbit during the expedition. Everything you send is permanently secured. Everything you keep with you can still be lost.
