A fast paced 2D horror action runner where a gigantic, grotesque monster never stops chasing you. Slash enemies aside or leap over them, equip different parasites to build automatic ability combos, and fill Overheat to dash forward and trigger them all at once. Get caught, and the run is over
The Monster That Never Stops Chasing You A fast-paced 2D horror action runner. Your character runs forward automatically while a gigantic, grotesque monster relentlessly pursues you from behind. The moment it catches you, the run is over.
Every Enemy Is a Choice Enemies block the path ahead. Strike them with your sword to knock them back, or avoid the fight entirely by jumping over them. Time your attack precisely, and you can even deflect incoming projectiles back at the enemy.
Defeated enemies drop resources used to strengthen your character. Jumping over them keeps you safe for the moment, but you will miss out on resources that could help you later.
Change Your Playstyle with Parasites Each run is divided into a series of short sections. At the end of each section, you can spend the resources you have collected to equip new parasites.
Parasites attach themselves to your character’s back and extend outward like tentacles. Each one automatically activates its own ability, such as attacking enemies, poisoning them, or temporarily increasing your running speed. Combine different parasites and discover abilities that work well together.
As you progress, you will also have to choose between taking an immediate upgrade or facing stronger enemies for a chance at greater rewards.
Build Overheat by Attacking Every successful sword strike fills the Overheat Gauge. Once the gauge is full, you charge forward, damaging and knocking back enemies while activating every equipped parasite ability at once.
The more accurately you land your attacks, the more distance you can put between yourself and the monster chasing behind you.
Bosses That Block Your Escape The monster behind you continues to close in even during boss battles. Bosses block the path ahead and cannot be avoided by jumping over them.
Attacking pushes the boss forward, but when it gets too close, it pushes the player backward instead. You must defeat the boss before you are forced into the monster behind you.
Horror That Never Stops Moving The game does not rely on sudden jump scares or creatures unexpectedly leaping onto the screen.
Instead, tension comes from the monster constantly gaining ground, creatures with bodies that could never exist in reality, and visuals and sounds that become increasingly distorted.
Rather than hiding in the darkness and waiting, you must keep running, keep fighting, and survive.
