This is a board game I played as a kid.

A rough sheet of paper with the Journey to the West drawn across it. After school, a few of us would crowd around a table and throw dice, racing from space 1 to space 100. Demons knocked you back to the start; a Somersault Cloud sent you soaring to cheers; a little imp grabbed hold and would not let go. That paper vanished long ago — but the pure joy of throwing dice around a table has stayed with me my whole life.

Many years later, I rebuilt it with my own hands as an indie game, keeping the heartbeat and laughter of everyone huddled around one table.

Dedicated to the friends who once threw dice with me, back when we were young.
