Inspired by his grandfather, a lifelong treasure hunter, Ethan receives two simple birthday gifts: a toy metal detector and a wooden shovel. While the equipment may be humble, his grandfather promises that with enough patience and determination, these tools will lead him to something far more valuable than riches.
