Forty generations ago, the sentient forests of Arçuray were buried in a lightless void by the cosmic god Erlik. To survive, the roots consumed the earth's marrow, mutating the forest. Now, they are no longer just trees, they have evolved into towering, heavily armed botanical spacecrafts. Set against a striking monochrome retro-pixelated aesthetic and driven by a heavy low-octave bass soundtrack, you must guide these living war machines through a mythical narrative to reclaim the sun.

Deep Modular Bullet Crafting

Break away from standard rogue-lite loadouts by crafting your own bullets from scratch. You construct unique bullets using a highly configurable 4-slot crafting system:

• Bullet: Choose the physical nature and core damage type of your shot.

• Shooting Style: Choose the firing pattern and trajectory.

• On-Hit Effect: Trigger strategical secondary abilities, debuffs, or crowd control upon impact.

• On-Kill Effect: Chain explosive or tactical reactions the moment an enemy falls.

Selectively Breed Your War-Trees

Unlock and command War-Tree breeds, each offering unique base stats and distinct combat and ride styles. Whether you prefer the fast, sniper-focused precision of the Kav'akk or the heavy, defensive fortification of the Guerr’gen, you dictate the approach. Evolve your chosen tree further through endless breeding mechanics and an extensive perk system that lets you customize the very anatomy of your tree.

As you progress, you can bridge tailored skills and select from a massive pool of upgrades to define your build:

• Anatomical Enhancements: Spend your resources to upgrade your Core, Bark, Branches, Roots, and Weaponry, physically and mechanically strengthening your ship against the void.

• Deep Combat Upgrades: Specialize your playstyle by bridging skills focused on survival, mobility, relentless shooting, crushing close-combat abilities, and powerful active skills.

• Scent & Orbiting Sticks: Manipulate the arena by improving your Scent to project powerful auras, and release orbiting sticks, deadly wooden satellites that circle your tree. Use these orbiting defenses and offenses to completely dictate the flow of combat and build a machine uniquely suited to your tactics.

Escalating Progression & Punishing Permadeath

The siege against Erlik’s endless cosmic beasts is unforgiving, anchored by punishing permadeath roguelike mechanics. When your tree is destroyed, it is lost in the void, but death is just part of the story. Progression relies on highly rewarding, old-school unlockable mechanics, ensuring that every hard-fought run grants you new tools and weapons to seed a stronger build on your next attempt.

Pushing deeper into the void isn't just a matter of scaling enemy health or stats. Levels dynamically evolve to test your mastery, introducing entirely new mechanics, distinct challenge types, and shifting arena hazards that force you to adapt on the fly. You will clash against a rich, terrifying variety of enemy factions and confront massive, devastating bosses. Surviving their complex, screen-painting attack patterns and intense bullet-heaven phases will push your reflexes and your buildcrafting genius to their absolute limits.
