Remember that summer?

Grab a bamboo stick, give it a hard spin—

“Waaah—waaah—waaah—!”

A sound like cicadas echoing through the entire courtyard. It was the cheapest, happiest, and loudest toy in countless childhoods.

Now, this traditional Bamboo Cicada has officially evolved into a complete game experience on Steam.

“Bamboo Cicada” (Zhu Zhiliao) faithfully recreates the physics and acoustic principles of the real toy: Hold down the screen, spin it in circles, and once the speed crosses the threshold, the paper membrane and the rosin-coated string begin that alternating “stick-slip” friction. The hollow bamboo chamber resonates and amplifies the sound, making that iconic “Waaah—waaah—” ring true. The faster you spin, the louder, more urgent, and more addictive it gets.

This isn’t just a simulator; it’s a pure “Cicada Sound Competition”!

No complex plot, no pay-to-win stats, just the most primitive, unadulterated joy—

The wilder you spin, the louder it buzzes, and the higher it “flies.”

Why should you buy it?

• Childhood memories precisely awakened: Return to that summer before smartphones existed in a single second.

• Extremely simple controls: Takes three seconds to learn, but impossible to put down.

• Maxed-out social vibes: Spin and instantly share your score card; challenge your friends to a “Buzz-off.”

• Lightweight and casual: Perfect for commutes, slacking off at work, or a few rounds before bed.

• Perfect blend of tradition & modern gameplay: Full of nostalgia yet packed with competitive spirit.

This is the most fun “Buzz-Tool” on Steam.
