The World and Its Peoples

Once upon a time, many peoples lived upon that continent —

demi-humans, elves, dwarves, vampires...

One day, a very large ship arrived at its shores.

And from the ship came a people no one had ever seen before.

Humans.

joining hands with every people, to strike down the evil that plagued the land.

And so evil was destroyed, and the world was at peace.

And they all lived happily ever after.

Systems

Save Degradation — IMPORTANT

If your party is wiped out five times on the same save file, the save file itself will be erased
A "Pen" is required to save. Record often

Combat

Fire, Ice, Thunder, Wind, and Blood elements — plus racial and class matchups — all play into the damage you deal

Auto mode and fast-forward keep battles moving at your pace


Weather

Rain: lightning attacks deal critical hits, and ice attacks freeze their targets

Gale: strong winds blow at set intervals, sending every lightweight unit flying

Blizzard: rivers and ponds freeze over, ice attacks deal critical hits, and movement is reduced

Heatwave: every unit on the map gains a body-heat gauge — cool down within the turn limit or take heavy damage

Lightning & Earthquakes: evacuate immediately

Terrain

Grass, cliffs, fallen trees, pitfalls, ponds and rivers — every tile has a role to play

Set grass or fallen trees alight, and the flames will spread

Once rivers and ponds freeze over, you can slide across them

Spread poison to create a toxic swamp

Or coat the ground in oil. No open flames, please

Special Items

A Nice Barrel: very nice. You might even be able to hide inside

Grappling Rope: dash in a straight line toward walls and cliffs

Poison Pots, Oil Pots & Water Jars: shatter where they land, splashing everything nearby
