VOIDHOLD is a sci-fi horde-survival roguelite. You command a four-soldier fireteam — VECTOR, NOVA and ECHO at your side, the combat dog REX-7 and the eagle-drone AQUILA in support — holding a position at the edge of the void against waves that never stop escalating.

COMMAND A FIRETEAM

• You are the commander. Three AI troopers fight beside you, named and colour-coded, gaining veteran strength every level — and the comms track the fight: arrival calls on every world, first-contact warnings, allies down.

• Each trooper carries its own fixed weapon. VECTOR is the marksman: every shot of the RG-4 RAILSPIKE charges to full and pierces the whole line. NOVA closes in with the SG-12 SCATTER, a short-range pellet cone. ECHO lobs AoE bolts into the crowd with the ARC-9 PLASMA LANCE. Your squad is not three clones.

• Two companions field with you: REX-7, a combat dog, and AQUILA, a recon eagle-drone.

• Hold Q — the left bumper on a controller — to open the command wheel: order the whole squad, companions included, to engage freely, protect you, hold a position or focus one target. They still move, aim and fire on their own.

• Fallen troopers and companions redeploy when you reach the next planet. Losses are a setback you carry through the world, not a run-ender.

ENDLESS, ESCALATING

• Ten distinct biomes, looping endlessly. The horde grows level after level — a felled boss buys one breather before it climbs again — and every planet fields its own flavour of the horde.

• A mini-boss holds the middle of every biome and a boss caps it — two different foes from five rotating archetypes: a demon bruiser, a green zone-caster, a charging juggernaut, an aerial dive-bomber, an ice brute-king. Each is a telegraphed weak-point fight, never an HP sponge.

• The roster fights dirty. The ASH REAVER flanks with a telegraphed ballistic leap, ash lancers fire from their tridents, and the deep waves roll out mutated behaviours: volatile chargers, mortar brutes, warded spitters, dive-bombing flyers.

• Elite-mutated enemies prowl the deeper waves — gold-crowned and gold-shielded, worth triple. Break the shield, then land the kill. Deeper still, a rank above them again: larger, tougher, and paid accordingly.

• Rule-twist special waves seize whole levels — eleven of them, each flying its own alert banner: a HARDENED SWARM, a FLYER ECLIPSE, an ELITE PATROL, a VOLATILE CASCADE, a MORTAR SIEGE, a STAMPEDE, a SHIELD WALL, a CROSSFIRE, a BREACH where one wall has fallen and they pour through it, a LOW-G drift that turns height into cover, and a RAZOR EDGE where every hit lands harder in both directions. Boss fights twist too: a ROYAL GUARD shields its boss until the guards fall, an IRONCLAD boss wears heavier plate, and a WAR PARTY brings one more boss.

• How deep can you hold? A local high-score board keeps every run honest, and Steam leaderboards rank your best unbroken run against your friends and the whole world.

BUILD-CRAFTING SYNERGIES

• Every run is a different build. Seven mods — HOLLOW-POINT, SIPHON ROUNDS, ARC CONDUCTOR, KILL-DRIVE, AEGIS CORE, INCENDIARY, ADRENALINE — combine into 23 named synergies, among them EXECUTE, GLASS CANNON, CHAIN REACTION, INFERNO, THERMAL CORE, BLOODLUST, VAMPIRE, APEX PREDATOR, MELTDOWN, BERSERKER, FRENZY, JUGGERNAUT, LAST STAND and FORTRESS.

• Lane commitment compounds. Stack a path and your run transforms — it does not just grow bigger numbers.

• Every run banks SALVAGE. Spend it across seven PROGRAMS for permanent starting edges: credits, a pre-fitted jetpack, charged shields, reinforced hull, weapon logistics, REX-7 and AQUILA.

HOLD THE LINE

• Tight third-person, over-the-shoulder shooting with weight, recoil and kill-juice.

• Six weapons on one arm-cannon — carbine, piercing breaker, plasma lance, scatter, charge-railgun, incendiary — swapped freely mid-fight.

• SAVE RUN at any planet boundary and play on. The record honours only the unbroken watch: a resumed run never enters the high-score board.

• A cohesive neon sci-fi look, an original driving electronic soundtrack, zero telemetry.
