About the Game

Echo Doodle is a fast-paced, hand-drawn 2D action roguelite that takes place on the pages of a notebook.

Fight your way through doodled enemies and clear each stage. After every battle, choose new abilities and upgrades, combining effects that work together to create a different build each run.

You may start with nothing more than simple attacks and movement, but as your abilities pile up, the way you fight can change dramatically.

Create Your Own Build

What you choose—and how you upgrade it—is up to you.

Leave attacks behind as you dash through enemies, strengthen your shockwaves to sweep them away, stay airborne and prepare devastating downward strikes, or keep upgrading your basic attack until a simple slash becomes your strongest weapon.

Abilities can interact with different upgrades in different ways. Focus everything on a single ability, or combine multiple mechanics to create a playstyle of your own.

Every choice you make shapes how the rest of your run plays out.

Move Fast. Fight. Dodge.

Combat in Echo Doodle is built around fast movement and aggressive action.

Dodge incoming attacks, look for openings, and use jumps and dashes to move quickly across the battlefield. Fight on the ground or in the air, and make full use of the abilities you've collected as increasingly dangerous enemies stand in your way.

As you progress through the stages, new threats emerge—and powerful bosses await.

A Battle on a Notebook Page

The world of Echo Doodle isn't some grand fantasy kingdom.

It's a notebook.

A blue doodle character runs across lined paper, fighting enemies drawn in red. Attacks, shockwaves, and even enemy warning indicators are designed to look like they were scribbled directly onto the page.

Rather than a perfectly polished world, Echo Doodle aims to capture the feeling of doodles in the corner of a notebook suddenly coming to life.

How Far Can You Go?

Clear stages, choose your abilities, and build something powerful.

Maybe this run you'll push your dash to its absolute limit.
Maybe next time you'll build around staying in the air.
Or maybe that ordinary basic attack will become the strongest weapon you have.

Turn the page and see what awaits.
