Starting a new life is easy. Surviving the consequences is not.

Horror Stories: Social Problems is a psychological horror game about loneliness, daily routines, and the unsettling things hiding beneath ordinary life.

You play as a man who has decided to get his life back on track. Find a job, join social media, start working out, meet new people, and maybe even find love.

It sounds like a fresh start.

Naturally, everything goes wrong.

During the day, take care of household chores, work at a local store, explore the town, use your computer and phone, exercise, and try to become a functioning member of society.

But even the most everyday routine can begin to feel strange when you are alone for too long.

At night, nightmares and strange events begin to break through. The more you investigate, the harder it becomes to distinguish the ordinary from the impossible.

Familiar places change. Small details stop making sense. Something is waiting to be uncovered, and it may already know more about you than you think.

Then there is a girl.

Meeting her may change the protagonist’s life forever. Whether that is a good thing remains to be seen. In the end, not everything is real.
